This is a very great quad!! It is a solid flier, stable, and excellent hardware. Yes, this is very expensive and not a toy quad by any means. Though you have to take into account the hardware...camera, gimbal, app, controller, and most importantly Lightbridge technology. There are horror stories out there about all these quads but many can be avoided. Do your homework folks and know what you are buying. I implore you to read and watch the tutorials DJI has before first takeoff. Could save yourself time and money. Please fly safe and abide by the rules out there.
Now Best Buy please do better on your shipping!! Yes arrived as usual in a timely manner....This product was not in a shipping box protected. Arrived on my doorstep in manufacturer box with a shipping label slapped on. Inexcusable Best Buy, inexcusable!! The product looked like it was sitting in the corner of your warehouse for a year unattended. It was dirty, dented, and beat up!! This was the first time I have ever received anything from Best Buy in this manner. This would never be on your shelves, ever!!

What's great about it: Windows 8.1, Great 1080p screen, MS Office w/Outlook, Type/Touch Cover 2, Dual angle kickstand, Build quality, Battery
What's not so great: Still a bit wide to hold, App Store still lagging.
I was an owner of the original MS Surface. Most of the problems that were apparent with the original Microsoft fixed with the Surface 2. The screen quality is hands about better on the Surface 2(1080p). The dual kickstand positions is a huge help that helps me be more comfortable typing. Like the first Surface the build quality on this is amazing!! It feels very sturdy, well built, and a bit thinner. The speakers are louder than the original but still ok for a tablet. With the Tegra 4 processor this thing is very snappy and is fast switching between apps or apps side by side. The battery life is also a bit longer than the first, I get a full days use(10+hrs) out of it. With Windows 8.1 the Surface 2 seems a lot more smooth and fluid. I love the inclusion of Office with Outlook bundled with it this time. That is definitely a huge bonus to help me with the productivity side of this tablet. Speaking of productivity the new keyboard type cover 2 is more of the same but having backlighting is a really nice plus.
The things I don't care for about the Surface 2 is it's dimensions for a large tablet. It is a bit wider than most larger tablets which makes it a little bit awkward to hold or use in portrait mode. I'm sure this is done for 16:9 picture mode and better side by side app viewing. Another thing that still ultimately hurts the Windows ecosystem is the lack of apps. The store is much better from a year ago but still is lacking a bit. Though with Facebook available, Instagram and Flipboard on the way, gives me hope developers will start making their apps available. Don't be discouraged though because there is still very good apps available in all categories.
That is my review of two full days with the new and improved Surface 2. Hope this helps some of you out that were on the fence purchasing this. Lastly, I am not biased to one ecosystem or another because I own products from each. I just like great products from each of the companies.

This product is... responsive touch screen, Good sound quality, easy to set up, lightning fast, Perfect for Business, Variety of apps available, Sharp graphics, Easy to navigate

What's great about it: Fast, Fluid, Quality, and Smooth
What's not so great: Little pricey
I normally don't write reviews but I was compelled to write about this touchpad. Lets get this straight...there's horrible trackpads, average, good, very good, and Apple. No. I am not a Apple diehard but they make the best trackpad in the biz. This Logitech touchpad is right up there with the smoothness and fluidity of Apple's track/touchpads. It's fast, smooth, and makes Windows 8 much easier to navigate. I have a touchscreen all-in-one and feel this touchpad will make a non-touch PC far more enjoyable with Windows 8. It gives you all the gestures once you get used to it, and gives a nice subtle left and right clicks. Yes, it is a little on the pricey side but I feel it is worth every cent. It's not a plastic cheapy, this thing is screams quality. If you're a fan of Windows 8 like me, buy this touchpad, very enjoyable.!!

Your footnote indicates "Office sold separately". Does Surface 2 come with a fully licensed version of office?
Yes, it comes with full version of Office.

Yes it does but only from what MS considers safe sites
