The Bose QuietControl 30 neckband-style wireless headphones with adjustable active noise canceling, and using Bluetooth and NFC technologies, have great sound quality with solid base and clean highs. The Active and Adjustable noise canceling proved to be the best I have tried on in-ear headphones and rivals and surpasses most of the over the ear headphones I have used. The quality of construction is very good and has an attached plug to keep moisture and dust out of the USB port used for charging etc.. Great comfort – no irritation from the earbuds that sit loosely in your ear but don’t fall out (Bose's Stay-Hear+ eartips - three sizes included). The design is unobtrusive and elegant with the neck band providing power and also keeping the earbuds from getting lost when not inserted in the ears. The battery life is about 10 hours on average. A nice compact and protective carrying case is included.
The free Bose Connect app for iOS and Android devices provides additional functionality including customized settings.
The only problem I have had with Bose QuietControl 30 wireless headphones is that now my wife wants a pair.

Netgear - Orbi Wireless-AC3000 Tri-band Wi-fi System - White
By far the most sculpted, decorator inspired and designed router I have owned, it works style wise in my modern design environment (office and living room). Very easy AND fast installation combined with easy to open packaging is a plus. As detailed on the box, by logging into http://orbilogin.com for instructions, setup was a breeze. Installation only took about 10 minutes, including a software update. I used the NETGEAR genie app to control my network (diagnose and repair issues, setup parental controls etc.). Great download speeds are being achieved with my Netgear Orbi Wireless-AC3000 Tri-Band Wi-Fi System (1 Orbi Router (RBR50) that covers up to 2,000 square feet and 1 Orbi Satellite (RBS50) that covers up to an additional 2,000 square feet) of space. The system is easily handling my internet providers maximum download speeds across multiple connections with no buffering. The three Wi-Fi bands (secure) combined with NETGEAR’s Smart Connect intelligence helps maximize the data transfer. The six built-in (hidden) antennas and the included Orbi Satellite help in achieving maximum range. It still needs guest access and I have been told that this feature will be available later this year.

Despite the fast speed of the brewing cycle the flavor and lack of bitterness of the coffee was great. It is a great machine for that single (or double) cup of coffee. The design is pleasing to the eye (mine anyway). A true time saver for a fast cup of coffee and quick, easy clean-up.

The Belkin PowerHouse™ is a great charging station and organizer for an iPhone and Apple Watch combo. It saves desk/table space and by having only one power cable and it uses only one electrical outlet reducing cable clutter. The angles of the displays are optimal and the weight is enough to keep it steady.
One needs to seat the phone properly (all the way down) onto the variable height connector for the phone. The connector is tapered and worked well on both an iPhone 6 Plus and an iPhone SE that were in cases. One should also tighten the watch band so the back of the watch is positioned properly on its charging element. Once you have that covered charging status can be displayed on the devices themselves. If Belkin does another version, a light indicating charging might be a good idea. The docking station is sturdy and yet fashionable.

I have been using the Acer R 11 2-in-1 11.6 Touch-Screen Chromebook - Intel Celeron - 4GB Memory - 16GB eMMC Flash Memory - White (CB5-132T-C8ZW, N15Q8) extensively since I acquired it. This cloud centric computer has a fold-over 360 ` screen that can be used to turn the laptop into a tent configuration (for easy viewing of videos or presentations), opened in the same manner as a conventional laptop or folded completely over and used as a tablet. Designed for using the web it features state of the art 802.11ac Wi-Fi, runs Google’s Chrome OS and automatically downloads and installs security and software updates (no managing of patches needed).
It has an 11.6" multi-touch screen (1366 x 768 HD resolution typical for this class) and has a wide viewing angle for sharing content. It’s processor handles e-mail, web, productivity tasks and basic multitasking. It weighs under 2.76 lbs., is .8” thin and has been giving me around 10 hours of internet connected use per day.
I really like the textured aluminum case top from both a visual esthetic and a non-slip practical point of view. This Acer 2-in-1 provides Bluetooth connectivity that I use for file transfer along with an up to date USB 3.0 port. I use the 3.0 port for additional offline storage and a USB 2.0 port for a mouse dongle. This still leaves an SD-card slot for image storage and an HDMI port for output to a HD definition TV. It also has an internal HD webcam with microphone along with a headphone/microphone combo jack. The audio is nice and clean with ample volume. The keypad is responsive while the trackpad is comparable to other computers in this class.

The Acer Iconia One, 10.1 Tablet, 32GB - Wi-Fi is a very capable tablet for the price (the purchase price is about equal to the sales tax on a high-end tablet where I live). Its specifications, its physical hardware construction and its included software are excellent for this price range tablet. That said, do not expect it to perform like a premium tablet. It comes with usable software for surfing the web, writing, and file management etc. (Android’s usual suspects) plus some bloatware. YouTube video quality is limited to a very usable (IMHO) 720p HD, while speaker audio quality is good – but not great. This unit is 2.5Ghz & 5Ghz Wi-Fi capable, USB chargeable (cable included), and has no cellular capability (I use Skype on this tablet). My tablet shipped with the Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system. You can see the full detailed specifications by clicking on the specifications tab on the main Best Buy product page. I installed all of the Microsoft Office 365 (think Word and Adobe (think Photo)) Android Apps along with the Amazon Kindle App and Speedtest. I kept running out of memory so I uninstalled some of the apps and now am functioning quite well. You may want to expand memory by adding a microSD or microSDXC card (I am using a 32G card) and locating as many of your apps and as much of your data there as possible. If you are a hard-core gamer or other power user, you will probably want a faster processor and faster graphics plus more system memory. In short the Acer Iconia One, 10.1 Tablet, 32GB - Wi-Fi is nice, inexpensive and functional (I especially like the 10 inch screen size, battery life and the textured back).

A great extender. I used it with 3 different routers, all with good results, made by different companies. I settled on the LINKSYS EA9500 MAX-STREAM™ AC5400 TRI-BAND WI-FI ROUTER.
Easy to install. Unpacking and setup required less than 10 minutes. I read and followed the easy instructions. I then configured my network using the Linksys Smart Wi-Fi software. Using the software I was able to prioritize my attached devices, allocating bandwidth where needed and locate the Linksys MaxStream RE7000-AC1900 Wall Plug In Range Extender with MU-MIMO in an optimal location to eliminate a dead spot.
I now have faster and more consistent connections than ever before. I live in a very electronic “noisy” area with over 25 networks visible at any given point in time. My network is now only limited by my carrier for web access speed.
As I stated in my review of the LINKSYS EA9500 MAX-STREAM™ AC5400 TRI-BAND WI-FI ROUTER –
Simple install, great build quality, great technical specs, great performance and great management software.
This is what computing should be – “it just works!”

This is the best router I have ever used (I have owned and have used over 20).
It was super easy to install. Unpacking and setup required less than 15 minutes. I read and followed the easily understandable instructions. I then configured the LINKSYS EA9500 MAX-STREAM™ AC5400 TRI-BAND WI-FI ROUTER using their Linksys Smart Wi-Fi software. I was able to prioritize my attached devices, allocating bandwidth where needed.
I now have faster and more consistent connections than ever before. I live in a very electronic “noisy” area with over 25 networks visible at any given point in time. The centrally located router reaches my entire location except for one dead spot. I corrected the dead spot by using a Linksys MaxStream RE7000-AC1900 Wall Plug-In Range Extender with MU-MIMO to obtain complete coverage.
Simple install, great build quality, great technical specs, great performance and great management software.
The Technical specs are cutting edge at this time.
This is what computing should be – “it just works!”

I have had a large number of digital and film cameras. I really liked the first RX100. I liked the RX100m2 even more (I still use it). The third generation RX100m3 is even better!. The RX100m3 is still pocketable for me. The battery life is good. The video supports 4K resolution. The fast lens is great for low light levels. I bought it through the Best Buy store in Chicago on Michigan Ave. Great store!

What's great about it: Pro quality in a P&S compact size
This is even better than the Sony DSC-RX100 (the first of the series). For example better low light capabilities, hot shoe, and built in WiFi. Android users might like the Near Field capability. I like being able to use my iPhone as a remote trigger - awesome.

16G is listed as max supported memory. I have used it with both an external 8T hard drive and a usb DVD drive.
