A novel neckband design with two ways to wear. You can use the retractable cables to use the in-ear headphones, or you can use speaker mode with the external (neckband encased) speakers (which can be disruptive to others). This audio device looks somewhat like a horse collar but also is stylish. The band is part flexible easy to put on or take off and is comfortable to wear although not great for my work outs. The wired earbuds are retractable. When not in use, they retract inside the neckband. It has reasonable controls for audio / phone functions. The audio is not as robust as I would like due to its having subdued base. The system is designed to give you a 360-degree immersive aural experience. The earbuds are able to provide a better experience (but they come with a warning to be careful with the thin cables). You can share music with a person that that has a pair of these (not tested). The unit emulates deep bass through haptics, vibrating the speakers on the neckband. The battery life is excellent 6 hrs. speaker mode / 35 or so hrs. earbud mode. I would like to see them rated for water / dust intrusion. Great concept, Great features, mediocre execution.

First – this was the fastest (under 10 minutes) and easiest mesh setup I have experienced to date. I downloaded the Connect app and followed the easy to understand instructions.

Set up of the Samsung - POWERbot R7040 App-Controlled Self-Charging Robot Vacuum was easy. It took about ten minutes to unpack, read instructions and set-up. I used the included remote control to start it’s first sweep. It does a great job on both hardwood and carpet without human intervention. It is superb around furniture and other obstacles including corners. It navigated multiple rooms and mated with it’s base automatically to recharge. Very cool!
After an initial sweep, it has an adequately sized dust bin for my location (under 2,000 square feet). If it needs to recharge during a session it will resume cleaning when fully recharged.

I am waiting for the Samsung Connect app to be updated to include the R7040 on either / or Android (generic) or iOS.
To be a total solution for me it needs to handle the fringe / tassels of Oriental rugs (they jam now).
I hope to be able to use the Samsung Connect Home 3-Pack to manage the POWERbot.

Cool yet tough functional styling with respectable portable sound quality providing clean strong highs, mids and bass. It floats (waterproof and submersible to 3.3 ft. and has a waterproof dry-box (2” x 4.75” x .25”) for keys etc. plus it is drop-proof to about 4 ft. making it a superb outdoor speaker. The AQ10 is easily portable coming in with a weight under one and three-quarter pounds. Delivering up to 13 hours of battery life, it is great for outdoor events. Having dual front facing drivers and passive radiators it is able to reach 94 decibels (dB) with no discernable distortion while playing a high-quality track. A built-in microphone is provided for mobile-phone speakerphone capability. The AQ10 can also be used to charge a phone or use a patch cord for a physical connection to another audio source. Coming with Bluetooth 4.2 it is power efficient, pairs with up to 8 devices and reliably provides a consistent stream of audio. All of the controls are easy to use. The speaker shape has handles that are handy and a square x rectangular shape that will prevent it from rolling or sliding under most circumstances. Make sure you close the port and lid hatch covers before exposure to the elements. I would like to have USB charging available although I believe the 12-volt power source allows for faster charging.

They are quite comfortable, even when I wear glasses over extended periods of time. The component materials are all high quality stainless steel and other durable premium materials with perfect fit and finish. The sound is very natural with great detailed highs, mids and solid base providing a rich, warm sound with superb noise isolation, maintaining the perfect equilibrium of aesthetics, durability, comfort and functionality. When used with a player’s equalizer they handled a broad selection of musical genres with perfection. The custom antenna combined with Bluetooth 4.1 and Qualcomm® aptX™ with multi-device connection capability provide best in class quality, connectivity and range. The Linksys MAX-STREAM AC4100 Tri-Band Router (EA9300) was very easy to install. Unpacking and setup required less than 15 minutes including a firmware update. I read and followed the easily understandable instructions. I then configured the Linksys MAX-STREAM AC4100 Tri-Band Router (EA9300) using the Linksys Smart Wi-Fi software. Ideal for multiple connected devices, this router provides ample bandwidth for simultaneous 4K and HD video streaming(my wife and I both watched different HD videos at the same time), online gaming, and other data-heavy uses. Three dedicated bands minimize lag when multiple devices are connected, delivering speeds of up to 600 Mbps (2.4 GHz) + 1667 Mbps (5 GHz) + 1667 Mbps (5 GHz). Applications are routed based on bandwidth needs. I was able to prioritize my attached devices, allocating bandwidth where needed. I have consistent connections. I installed this router in a very electronic “noisy” area with over 30 networks visible at any given point in time. The centrally located router reaches the entire location with no dead spots. Easy install, great build quality, good technical specs, great performance and great management software. The technical specs are cutting edge for this range of routers at this time.
Like all of the new Linksys routers – “it just works!”

The Panasonic ES-rt17 is nicely styled and lightweight at less than one pound. It is comfortable to hold and shave with due to good ergonomics. It is powerful enough to handle a tough beard while a single charge provides about 21 minutes of shaving. The trimmer works great on my sideburns and the flexible head adds to comfort and speed in the process of shaving. It uses a single piece charger that I like (no cord to deal with) and the charger can also serve as a stand for the shaver. I find the wet/dry capability allows it to be used in the shower and eliminates the concern of splashing water on it making it easy to clean. It is easy to pack in its pouch and comes with a compact head protector. I really like this shaver better than another wet/dry one that I owned. I do wish it would let you know when it is fully charged and I would appreciate a time to full charge time of less than 8 hrs.. I would also prefer a longer run time than 21 minutes.
A nice comfortable shave is a wonderful thing.

The Polk - Bit Portable (wearable) Bluetooth Speaker has great mid-range sound quality when you consider its diminutive size. Clipped to my collar close to center of my shirt front the volume was adequate for street use while allowing for good safety through improved situation awareness (you hear other sounds in your environment). The Bluetooth speaker was easy to use for playing music or using for cellphone calls. It has 2 buttons (a + and a -) that are easy to identify by touch and provide good functionality. Battery life is fine for a commute or walk of about 2-3 hrs. I used the online instructions – a .pdf file to learn what I needed to know. When used with my cellphone it functioned just fine. The low price makes it a nice inexpensive personal accessory or gift. While it seem to resist moisture I would prefer waterproof construction.

The JBL - Under Armour Sport Heart Rate Wireless In-Ear Headphones are the best working out style in-ear headphones I have used. The sound quality is quite good with strong bass – nice for cadence beat during exercise. After fitting the in-ear headphones using the included earbud tips (ear pieces, 3 sizes using TwistLock™ and obtaining a good seal, I could not get them to fall out - nice) of the appropriate size for my ears the fit was comfortable and the in-ear sensor read my heart rate accurately while providing great audio. The right earbud touch sensor provides spoken on-demand heart rate updates and can be optimized for your endurance training sessions to achieve your personal goals. Custom coaching is available through the UA Record™ app, and has a dashboard for connected fitness. You can view in-workout training analysis and get customized heart rate feedback. The 12-month premium membership to MapMyRun (a very popular app for fitness) great for setting up your workout schedule and tracking progress. I used the online manual for set up – easy to understand. Battery life was more than ample for even my lengthiest workouts. They are sweat resistant which is great if you are drenched in sweat. What is the difference between the designer series and the classic blender? Can they be used commercially? Which is more rugged?
The major difference between the two series appears to be the number of functions, with the Designer Series having the most settings. Blendtec also has a series of pro blenders. You can do a search for Blendtec/commercial. They both seem to be very rugged.

Best way to get clear low light shots with action
What is the best way to achieve good motion shots in low light on this camera? I am frequently trying to capture images or video in poorly lighted gyms or auditoriums. Is there a recommended preset that handles these conditions well?
Use the highest ISO you are comfortable with digital noise wise. Preferably 3200 or above. Shoot at the widest aperture preferred setting 1.8 at 28mm if possible. This will give you the fastest shutter speed possible. Last but not least pan with your subject. - good shooting!
