Received my Dell monitor today. Excellent packing. Beefy DisplayPort, HDMI, and USB3.0 cables all included. No, it may not have hot buttons to change refresh rate on the fly, but there were no dead or stuck pixels, no noticeable blacklight bleed, and no quality control issues (grease splotches over crystals, hairs visible under the top film, etc.) like the other gaming monitor company. And I couldn't argue with the $200 off Best Buy sale price. The 2k resolution just "pops", compared to 1080p. But the thin bezel frame will take some getting used to, compared to the heavier frame of my old monitor. Okay, it took me about 30 seconds! Love it! 144hz (variable) refresh rate, Nvidia G-sync, and side & bottom 3.0 USB ports are all excellent. The monitor wobbles just a bit when plugging in a USB stick in the side port, but holding your hand on the far side eliminates the wobble. For gaming monitors, if you were considering Asus, take this Dell. Excellent Dell quality control.

These fit over the ear, and are very comfortable. The headband is metal, not thin plastic, and has interchangeable different thickness pads that allow adjustable fit. The sound quality is excellent, far better than my previous on-the-ear set. The ear cup leather padding seals better than foam versions. The surround sound is terrific, but you need the downloadable software, which runs in the background, to use it. Not an issue. The microphone sound is very good. It uses a USB connection, not phono jacks.
I had a cheaper brand headset with the volume/mute controls inline, but after a few times of catching the thin plastic cord on my feet or chair, and the headset being jerked to the floor, the volume control became spotty, hearing out of both ear pieces only if the volume was set on full. The G35 controls are on the left ear casing, which takes away the weak link of the inline control connection. Also, the cord much longer, heavy braided, and reinforced where it enters the headset. Quality strong build.
For video/audio editing, it seems incompatible with Roxio Creator NXT Pro. There is heavy static and stuttering during audio playback, but I believe this is a Roxio issue, since the sound with Cyberlink PowerDirector 12, Cyberlink WaveEditor 2, and Windows 7 built-in audio recorder, Windows Media Player, or Internet audio / video streaming all have crystal clear recording / playback with the headset. Roxio does not seem to have a patch for this issue.
For gaming, Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, The Witcher 2 & 3, and the like, sound fantastic, with rich tones and pinpoint accuracy of identifying directional danger approaching.

what is aspect ratio ?
Aspect ratios is the width vs height of the monitor.
The Aspect Ratio of modern monitors are typically either 16;9 (widescreen) or 16:10 (letterbox). Resolution is entirely separate. You can have 1080p HD in either format. I have a old Dell 2407 1080p monitor, 16:10 format, that I have loved for many years. 2k and 4k more commonly come in 16:9 format. I just bought a Del S2716DG 2k monitor in 16:9 format.
Movie videos typically use 16:9 ratio. This allows the video to be viewed on the monitor without the black bars on top and bottom of the screen, which is seen using monitors of the 16:10 ratio.
16:10 ratio can have an advantage if using documents, such as Word, Access, etc, in that you have more vertical space on your screen, and can place two documents, side by side, on the one screen more comfortably than the 16:9 format. It is really a matter of personal preference. 16:9 gives you a wide view for movies. 16:10 gives you a bit more vertical view than the 16:9. For gaming, you can use either.

No. But is does have a 1/8 inch phono jack on the left side (under the two 3.0 USB side ports), to plug in your headset plug.

How long is the cord?
I measured mine with a ruler at about 9.5 feet long. It is also a heavy, braided cord, not a thin plastic one, and reinforced where it enters the headset ear casing.

Does it have only a usb connection or does it have others too?
USB connection only.
