What's great about it: Good quality.

What's not so great: Not as deep and rich as others.

These speakers were purchased to replace larger speakers for our patio setting. These are made to be outdoor speakers, so they should last longer, as they are suited for the environment. They have a strong mid range sound, and a small footprint for installation. They installed simply by adding a wood brace for them to mount on for my patio. I haven't had them long, but so far, over the summer, they have done well. We enjoy our outdoor living & patio space, so these should be a nice compliment to the environment.

I see you can hook these up with speaker wire studs on the back but is there a female end to hook up with RCA jacks?

There are no RCA connections for this speaker. There are only normal speaker wire connections.
