What's great about it: mobility
What's not so great: cord does not retract and stretches accordingly
it's very good in hard to reach places. That's why I choose this instead of an upright vacuum.
You can easily reach underneath the sofa, bed, drawer, etc...
Very good suction too! Easy to clean!

What is difference between dc39 animal and regular dc39

It's only the tangle free hair extension and the canister color. Other than that, they are the same.
