I used to have a fitbit before it was recalled, so i decided since i have a galaxy s4 i would try this out. So far i love it except for a few minor things. I wish the battery would last longer and you didnt need a extra removable (easily lost) small piece to charge the unit. I like that i now can get notifications on my wrist, sometimes when I'm shopping or in another room from my phone i can still be instantly notified of a text or incoming phone call when before i was unable to hear my phone.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Does display show distance ran and time?
Does the display show distance ran and time? I am a runner and need to be able to monitor my time and distance.

Continuous Heart Rate?
Does this device continuously tells you your heart rate or do you have to hold your finger on the device?
It measures your heartrate by activating the feature on your wrist device. You dont have to hold your finger to it. However it doesnt measure it continuously. It measures it and tells you what it is at that time. So if you were running you could measure it if you take a break or after you are done, I'm not sure if it will work while your actually moving.

Can you go swimming with Gear Fit?
I would like to know if this product is really water resistant and if anyone use it for swimming.
I believe i read in the user manual that you could take a shower with it and be in the rain, however i do not believe it could be submerged. Swimming not recommended according to what i remember reading.
