It's great for a external drive for the Xbox one. Easy out of the box use Xbox one formats it in seconds and then it's ready to use. Make sure to move your games over to it once installed once you pick it as ur primary storage device
I would recommend this to a friend!

How well does this external hard drive work on xbox one online?

I need to know if online play works better on an external hard drive or an internal hard drive?
I haven't notice any difference between them. I have notice a difference in boot up speed when starting a game tho or anytime the game needs to load
