Mohu - Leaf 50 Amplified Indoor HDTV Antenna with 60-Mile Range - Black/White
Launched in 2011, this design established the trend of paper-thin TV antennas. Universally compatible with all HDTVs, the Mohu Leaf 50 offers the benefits and powerful performance of our notorious design coupled with the Jolt Switch USB in-line amplifier to reach a 60-mile range. Control TV signal amplification in real time with a simple ON/OFF switch. When it’s "on", TV signals are increased for clearer picture and sound, sometimes receiving channels beyond your antenna’s standard range. When it’s "off", amplification is bypassed while TV signals are still filtered from FM and cellular interference. When plugged into your TV’s USB port, the amplifier only draws power when the TV is on, saving energy, or use the included USB power adapter with any standard wall outlet. Perfect for suburban areas, compact living spaces, single-TV homes, dorm rooms, RVs…take this efficient antenna just about anywhere you go. Easy to set up and easy on the eyes. Multi-directional UHF and Hi-VHF elements receive TV signals from both sides, so you can show either side of the black or white reversible design or paint the Leaf antenna for a customized look. Note: The range of this antenna will vary greatly depending on the height, power, and frequency of signals coming from the TV tower, as well as the height of the antenna installation, the terrain, and obstacles between your home and the broadcast towers. I dropped satellite a few years ago and went with an HD antenna using Antennas Direct brand. I live in south MPLS and am in the MSP flight path. With the AD brand, we would get a ton of pixelation when the flights were going overhead - to the point of it being unbearable to watch TV.
Now I just installed the MOHU Leaf 50 and all I can say is WOW! This picture is crisp, sound is great and there is absolutely NO PIXELATION when the skies are busy with airport activity. The unit hangs on the back of the armour and is very discrete. Plenty of cabling and installation materials provided and easy to set up. Great product. I'm buying more and ditching that crazy contraption on the outside of the house.

I really like the Fire TV layout of programs - it is super easy to navigate and find shows, channels and games. This is waaaaaaay better than the ROKU3 (which I have had for 3 months). The Fire TV unit is super fast as compared to the ROKU3 and FIRE TV seems to work better with SLING TV.
My son is a young teen and likes the games - not as cool as Xbox, but not as spendy either. I hope all gaming goes digital. Just seems to be more practical. The gaming remote is easy to use. It is logical.
The voice command is simple to use and she understand you on the first try.
I love the fact the the Fire TV box is so teeny tiny, but big on display and content. Of course, Fire TV is best when paired with PRIME. I get so much content for free.

We used this dehumidifier all summer long in our basement. It would take gallons of water out of the air and made our basement livable and clean smelling. No more funk coming from the basement during the summer.
I also noticed our electricity bill decrease a few bucks per month when I swapped out the old unit for the new unit. Every little bit helps.

This unit really did the trick for us. I need to attach a hose and feed it down the drain instead of emptying out the tray 2x per day. That would be a lot more efficient.

I bought this as a gift for my husband. He loves the fact that it holds a charge for a decent amount of time and is easy to clean. I love the results of the nice clean and smooth shave!
This unit came with an extra replacement head so that is a big bonus. Hopefully the charge mechanism will last a long time so that he gets to use the replacement head.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I loved the black and white design and the closure was very user friendly. Unfortunately the material/sticker that the design is made from is beginning to peel off after 2 weeks. What a bummer! I wanted to get the other fun colors too if this product was made well.
I was very careful to remove it when I showered and didn't do anything out of the norm. Because of the poor quality of the "sticker" I can't recommend this product. If anything, when it all peels off I will have a solid black band, so I got that going for me, which is nice...
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This case is so cute and I get compliments on it all of the time. It is very durable as I have had it over a year and it is still holding up well even with two kids and lots of accidental drops and falls. The outer bumper is just enough to protect from shock of low falls. But it still slides easily into your pocket or wristlet.
I do not have a hard time pushing the volume buttons or the top off button. Just use your finger nail instead of the top of your finger - works better that way. Great product!

I bought this smaller TV DVD combo for use in my laundry room which doubles as my work out room. I didn't need a large screen, just something better than my laptop for my T25 circuit training workouts. The picture is crisp and the sound is very good.
The only reason I didn't give this a 5 Star rating is due to the fact that the search is a little hinky. You have to be very patient with trying to skip/navigate to certain sessions on the disc. If you keep pressing the advance button it gets stuck - Maybe it's the quality of the disc. I found it difficult to get to the main menu.
Otherwise, it is a great unit. I would buy this for a smaller bedroom as well.

includes voice remote?
The photo depicts this package includes the voice remote as well as the gaming controller, is this true? according to amazon it is not included.
There is a button on the gaming remote for VOICE. Super easy to use. It is not a separate remote.

Can I just plug this into a wall outlet just to use to watch DVDs without cable hookup?
Yes, you can use it to watch DVDs without cable hook up. I have it set up in my workout room and I only use it for fitness DVDs. Great sound and picture. You can also use a Chromecast device or ROKU if you want to stream. It's the the way to go and save yourself lots of $$$.

The 'Auto Channel' setup didn't find anything. Can I pick up local channels without an antenna? If so, how do I set it up?
You need to have an HD antenna to pick up the HD stations. I have found that this unit will not "find" any stations without one. Talk to a Blue Shirt at the store to make sure you get a decent antenna. Different things affect the signal, like living in the flight zone of an airport.
