What's great about it: Quality,feel
What's not so great: Remappable buttons could be a problem for some
First off I will go on record to say I am in no means a professional gamer but I do enjoy games and quality products. I have a razer mouse for my PC and its been great so I was interested in their 360 controllers but some of the reviews on here made me leery. Just upon unboxing the controller I could tell it was a quality product. The controller just feels great in your hands when playing. The rubberized texture is something that I didn't think I'd like but after three hours of playing last night I began to wonder how I played without it. The adjustable analog sticks at first may seem like a gimmick but after tweaking them a bit I noticed better accuracy while playing FPS games. The hyper-response X,Y,A,B buttons take very little pressing to get a great result. I noticed that I was able to do simple things in Battlefield 3 like jump and reload much quicker than with the standard 360 controller. The only thing I had any issues with and it was quickly resolved is the remappable buttons. They are placed just above the standard LB & RB buttons so I occassionally found myself hitting them when I didnt mean to. My fix was to simply remap them as both the LB & RB buttons. So basically I have what would be two LB and RB buttons. Other than that I highly recommend this controller.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Yes, you will need the stereo headset adapter for original Xbox One controllers that do not have a 3.5mm jack.

Mic. issues
as of 8-26-15 im reading that the mic on this is terriblwe. Do you still have to download something to fix it?
I bought my 800X on September 26th and the mic sounds perfectly fine out of the box. I only turned mic monitioring on (its off by default) and made sure the chat volume itself was turned up to a decent volume. I tested using Upload Studio, party chat and Fireteam chat on Destiny and got no complaints.

can this be used with an older television
is it both plug in and wireless
The X12 headset is definitely a wired product. Would need a better description of the type of audio inputs your tv has to actually tell if the headset will work.

are these the pro or the older version
The new pro version are easy to notice from the original XO Sevens as only the Pro's come packaged with Turtle Beach's headset adapter. The original model comes with the Microsoft adapter.
