I was looking to replace my three piece computer speaker set and was impressed with the sound of these Bose speakers. No sub-woofer needed! I DON'T miss having an extra component on the floor to dust or sweep around!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have tile and wood floors and liked that this has 3 different steam settings, the lowest being okay for wood floors. It produced the right amount of steam for the wood floors. That's about the best thing I can say for this. The design of the mop makes it impossible to get a deep clean on any surface. You can't exert any pressure on the mop head because of the handle placement. The mop head can only glide across the floor surface. There's no weight to it, which means it doesn't pick up the deep down surface dirt. The mop cover didn't have much dirt/grime on it after I mopped my kitchen, living room and family room. There was more of a dirt line at the front of the mop head, but not much on the rest of it. I got a Bissell Powerfresh mop one day after returning the Shark and re-mopped the same areas. The Bissell mop head was completely and heavily covered in dirt and grime.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

does it remove dirt from carpets or it's only for cleaning floors?

It's not a carpet cleaner. You could steam spots in the carpet with it, but it won't clean carpets.
