I am looking into tablets for some of our team members for work and I purchased the cheapest Kindle which impressed me with how well it worked (for a $40 tablet on sale). The thing I didn't like about the Kindle is that I was confined to Amazon's apps and it didn't have the Google Play store (and the Google Apps that our company uses). This tablet is every bit as good as the $40 Kindle BUT has the huge advantage IMHO of having Google Play. Also, it seems like Digiland refrained from installing any bloatware which is nice and it seems pretty close to stock Android.
The camera isn't very good which is to be expected but the selfie camera worked great for a Google Hangout session.
I purchased a Digiland tablet a year ago and purposefully went for the cheapest tablet Best Buy sold -- it was a C+ at best last year. One year later and the same tablet is noticeably better. For the money, this tablet is an A/A+.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Was surprised it doesn't have HDMI as I but a bunch of these for our office. Can't beat it for $80/unit which is what I got them on sale for. Was able to purchase a DVI-HDMI adapter for a few bucks that will stay on the monitor permanently so not having HDMI is a non-issue (although you'll want to factor in an extra $5-$10 on top of the price of the monitor).

I have this ssd and love it. I purchased a more generic ssd of the same size with less impressive specs for my wifes laptop and can't tell the difference.
I think the ssd is the way to go I just don't know that I'd spend ~$240 on this top of line Samsung or ~$140 for a more mid-tier ssd.

I bought this and also purchased a 240gb SSD (from Best Buy on sale for ~$75) and installed it. Even without the SSD this machine ran great. With the SSD it's phenomenal.

What's great about it: Design, ease of use, lightweight, battery is good enough
What's not so great: Battery life is just good enough
Very cool looking watch. Can't wait to upgrade to the black metal band when it comes out. I was shocked how lightweight the watch is. It synced almost effortlessly with my Moto Droid Maxx.
I went on a bike ride and it was pretty sweet to be able to answer calls, receive/respond to texts, check emails, and change songs from my watch while not having to stop and pull out my phone.
I'm still getting the hang of the battery life as w/ my Maxx I can get 2 days pretty easily. The first full day I wore the watch I ended the day with about 25% left. Yesterday after downloading some custom watch faces my battery life was awful and I think that was the culprit.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Can the owner replace the battery?
Can the owner replace the battery themselves? I learned that an Asus model I was considering had a battery that was not removable.
It's possible but not super easy. You would need to open up the laptop to where the hard drive, motherboard is located. Once you're there it's pretty simple to remove but getting there is definitely doable but not super easy. If you're looking to be able to simply swap out the battery on the fly this isn't the laptop for that.

No I don't believe so. Has an HDMI and a USB 3.0

Do you have to use the "Fn" key to control the volume and audio buttons?
I don't like it when I have to hold down the "Fn" key just to adjust the volume or to pause my music.
It has audio buttons on the keyboard that do NOT require the fn key. Also has a volume key on the side of the device which is also convenient.

Does the battery actually last a full day?
And is a full day 24 hours?
Full "business" day. I had about 25% left after using it for a full day (from 7am to 9pm). I didn't use the watch excessively and my day involved trekking through an airport for which the watch proved extremely useful.
