Not good, cheaply made.

After I assembled this thing for two hours, I picked it up to move it into my room, and half of the particle board shelf falls apart. When assembling, there was also a bag of screws missing from the box, so I had to get screws separately to put the back of the shelf on.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is an absolutely stunning monitor.
It's serving me great and I love it's performance.
The 75HZ upgrade from 60HZ is easily noticeable.

Tips:
-Use the DisplayPort over HDMI if you can, there's a big difference
in the color quality, and only DP can use 75HZ on the monitor.
-Once you get the monitor, turn VividPixel off if you are going to use
this on a computer, if you keep it on text will be a bit blurry.

Some things are not mentioned in the specs but are great
additions to the monitor that you may want to know:
-It has built-in speakers, and they're pretty good for a monitor.
-The stand is adjustable, although the Best Buy specs claim it is not.
-As with all MHL hookups, it is a mini USB any may not work with an iDevice.

Are home theater systems speakers wireless?
i just bought a 26" toshiba flat screen and the sound is horrible and i wanted to get a home theater system to make the sound better but i don't want the hassle of all the wires to deal with and i didn't understand what it means if speakers are satelite. so are there systems that are wireless? thanks
Usually not. Remember, having wireless (which is most likely Bluetooth) is not common in home theater systems because they result to have a delay in sound and a slight loss of quality when placing them away from the television set.

Can my son hook his xbox one up to this?
No, as this monitor only comes with a VGA input. The XBOX One is HDMI-only, so narrow your search down to HDMI-supported ASUS monitors.

We have 5 monitors that are on wall mounted arms. We cannot locate the original stand they were on and now need those stands.
ASUS does not officially supply just the base stands for their monitors, but they might find someone whom does. Contact them with the information on their webpage.

dose it include a HDMI imput
This monitor is not compatible with HDMI, it has a VGA port only, and the VGA port is included.

Yes, it does come with a VGA cable (as shown in the "What's Included?" Best Buy tab).
