What's great about it: Simple
What's not so great: Battery life, fragile, small screen, feels the same
While Apple was quoted at saying the 5C was unapologetically plastic, they should have also said the 5S was unapologetically the same as the 5. Screen size and resolution remain the same, while it gets a pathetic upgrade to the camera. iOS7 is a sluggish battery hog that seems to have been designed by someone who thinks Nicki Minaj is stylish. I returned the phone and got the LG G2 which trumped the 5S in every way.

What's great about it: Pretty much everything
What's not so great: No expandable memory
This is easily in the top 3 phones of 2013 for me. It replaced my S4 which I also loved but the G2 had a level of mystique that could not be ignored. Since last year's Optimus G, LG has made significant improvements in their hardware and software in their handsets. This device goes beyond that and topples the current phone giants. The screen is bigger without making the phone unwieldy. The camera is on par with what has come to be expected of flagship smartphones. Battery life has been amazing and easily beats out my S4 and will come close to my Note 2. Don't be fooled by spec sheets saying this has expandable memory, IT DOES NOT. However, 32gb built in should suffice for most people. It's unfortunate that the phone launched around the iPhone 5Cheap and 5Same time because it will fall under that shadow and not be noticed by many due to that. LG needs to put more into marketing their new devices as well

What's great about it: great price, easy to use, lots of potential
Setup it easy and done in less than 10 minutes. I got this device to use on an older TV that would not typically have warranted paying for a device to stream netflix and other apps. It works great with all of the advertised apps and there is only more potential as the android community will start getting the casting api's into more apps. I used a $20 RWZ cert and got the three months of netflix free so I actually ended up making money on the purchase. Even at $35 to get netflix onto a tv that could not before is worth it

I'm guessing that best buy listened to the issues the other reviewers were having because I have now bought this twice and have gotten the code in under ten minutes. Easy to do and I can cash in some of the store credit I had laying around for xbl points

Unlocked phone
Will this be able to be used in New Zealand. If so, how much is it?
As a standard practice, most of these phones are not unlocked. Some verizon phones have been found to be unlocked though it would not work to full capabilities with networks in New Zealand

How do I get this phone activated after it arrives?
It's a Christmas present.
The phone should come with activation instructions including a sim card. It will require a call to the carrier. If you go into the Best Buy store they can do that work for you

according to ur website it says u have note 3 verizon in store,true?

The phone hasn't even been released internationally yet and then Verizon has to get their mitts on it to lock the bootloader and add bloat. Expect mid October release for VZW
