Only at Best BuyThis portable CD player features an FM tuner with 10 station presets, so you can listen to your favorite stations on the go. The skip protection ensures your favorite tunes aren't interrupted.

does this unit have its own speaker

can it be played with out ear butds
No, portable CD players do not have built-in speakers. However, you can always buy a speaker or pair of speakers and plug it/them into the headphone jack, just make sure whatever you by has the standard (or smaller) jack, which I believe is 3.5mm.

I see it plays mp3's burned onto a CD...will it also play mp3's burned onto a dvd? I want to be able to listen to as many songs as possible...

I can't state with absolute certainty that it will not, but given the product specifications, it seems extremely unlikely. . .only CD-R and CD-RW are mentioned. I'm guessing the record labels have conspired to prevent us from putting too much of "their" music (even that which we have bought and rightly own) on a disc to carry around and easily listen to on a whim.
