What's great about it: Low price, front facing camera
What's not so great: Short battery life, middling processor performance
Let's be perfectly clear, the main selling point of this model is the low price point. An Android phone running 4.X on sale for $50 new is amazing. It you compare it against the better mid or high range phones it's going to fare poorly. On its own merits and given realistic expectations, it does OK.
The front facing camera isn't high resolution but having one at all in this class is a bonus and it's adequate for texting a selfie or conducting a video conference. Swype comes installed as the default keyboard, and others are available for download. Lots of versatility with the settings and preferences. The phone supports 3G but not 4G/LTE high speed data.
The screen's viewing angles aren't great but it's crisp and clear. Less bloatware than some phones but still some things you'll never use. The camera doesn't have a flash but shutter response is fast and the photos are usable.
It's a serviceable entry level phone - not the quickest or most powerful but fine for texting and updating Tumblr. A great way to get onto T-Mobile's non subsidized plans with plenty of functionality for casual users. Power users will want something more substantial (and significantly more expensive).

What's not so great: Nothing
Didn't expect much, got it to humor a kid. But it turns out we really like it. The flavors, even the non diet varieties, have less sugar than typical drinks and we can also control the carbonation levels to make it less overwhelming for people who don't like strongly carbonated drinks.

What's great about it: Quiet, efficient, able to wash bedding

This was purchased to replace a large capacity washer that was almost 20 years old. We wanted something big enough to handle king sized comforters but still prefer a top loading machine.
Kudos to Best Buy (Pacific Sales) for an easy, painless delivery and set up. We scheduled in five minutes in store, the truck arrived within the window suggested, and the installers had everything up and running in about twenty minutes. Great job!
For our purposes this machine is ideal. It has a large enough drum to handle big loads, it has enough cycles and options to provide versatility, it is surprisingly quiet and balanced, and on quick wash you can do a touch up load in just over 30 minutes. It cleans well but is gentler on fabrics than a traditional top loader. Very satisfied with the machine and its performance.

What's great about it: Low price for feature set, easy to configure and use, good performance
What's not so great: Wish it had more memory out of the box, can't move applications to SD card.
I bought this as a replacement for a damaged high end phone. While I wish it had more memory it has the essentials - multi core processor, front camera for video conferencing, Android 4.X, etc. - at a price point that is hard to beat. The phone is responsive and has performed well with all the apps I regularly use. Aesthetically it has a nice look and feel - thin and light despite the large screen size. Setting it up was painless.
To be clear, this is a mid grade phone. If you pay three times as much (unlocked or unsubsidized) you'll get more memory, higher resolution on the cameras, etc. but this phone will do everything the typical user needs unless they simply have to own the latest and biggest thing on the market. For me, given the price and features, there's no contest.

What's great about it: Ease of setup and use, low cost
What's not so great: Poor battery life. So so screen resolution
I got this for my youngest mostly for casual web browsing and playing games. He has a netbook for "real" work. At this price point you aren't going to get the highest screen resolution, the longest battery life, or native google certification for Google Play, etc. What do you get? You get a thin, light tablet with adequate performance, a decent capacitive touchscreen and Android 4.X. It connected to my WiFi network easily, runs the "essential" games like Fruit Ninja and the Angry Birds series, lets him check email and the web on the go, and works as a media device to stream or play local movies, music, etc. It works well for what I bought it for, and at significantly lower cost. The tablet comes with two app stores preinstalled, and I easily loaded Amazon's app store. Finding the games and apps he wants has not been a problem. The user interface is not stock Android - it's intuitive what you understand what they've done and is probably great for beginners, but experienced Android users will have a small learning curve. If you need a high end device this isn't it. But for what I needed it meets expectations just fine.

windows vista?
will this work with a desktop running windows vista? and can you have more than one wireless device connected to it at the same time?
Vista is finicky but drivers shouldn't be a problem. Anything that can connect to the network can send to it, including online through Google Printing, the HP express printing, etc.

It has WiFi, you always have the option to turn off the mobile data.

Why
this item not available anywhere in the us? I tried 50 different states, Yet this item still being sold online.
Motorola seems to have trouble keeping up with demand. If you watch the website it will come into stock again.

Faxes
This printer doesn't support fax. Only scan, copy and print. If you must have fax Brother and Epson have comparably priced models which do all four.

Is this phone optimized for T mobile? Runs AWS1?
Unlocked MotoG works just fine on T-Mobile. Since this is the generic unlocked version you'll have to download Visual Voicemail and the T-Mobile account app from the Google Play store, if you want them, but they work fine as well.

when can softener be added manually?
I am used to adding softener manually when my old machine started to fill up for the rinse cycle. New unit (top loader) does not seem to fill with much water for rinsing nor is there any agit to help rinse.
The manual says you can pause the cycle (unlocking the lid) to manually add softener to the rinse if you prefer not to use the automated dispenser.

Does this machine have a cold water rinse?
Some one indicated that they couldn't wash on warm and rinse on cold----is this true?
All rinses are cold. You have several settings available for wash including "eco warm" and "tap cold"
