What's great about it: Incredible flexibility
What's not so great: ....doesn't run Mac OSx
This is the first PC I have bought in about 5 years. I have a handful of iMacs, iPads and MacBooks and have run Windows on those if needed. I wanted to take a chance on one of these Yogas as a more comfortable way to jam 12 hours of work in a day. I can lay on the couch and work on a long-term project with a tablet that is a FULL computer. I switch back and forth between touch screen and a mouse. Great thing is you have two other options; the trackpad and a stylus.
Touch screen is way better than I was expecting. I have really only used iPads, so I was impressed. I don't know which touch screen is better, cause I can't tell a difference.
I am using it for a very large powerpoint project and motion graphics design. I tried powerpoint on the new iPad app and it was severely limited for what I do with it. On the Yoga, it's simply the entire program. Love it. Also, since Adobe shoved me on to their subscription software service, I was able to run Photoshop, After Effects and any others. Although, there is a huge issue with font and dialog box sizes on the Yoga due to the crazy high resolution. Hopefully Adobe will fix that.
Value for Price - I compare it to my Apple products. For this amount of computer, plus touch screen, plus 256 SSD, its a much better value.
Display - Looks amazing....obviously with the resolution. I have noticed some aliasing on text in a web browser though....
Performance - Good processor along with the SSD, makes it pretty fast. It's not hyper-threading or anything like that, but then again, you shouldn't really be using this to render out a video project anyway.
Convenience - Use it anywhere, in any position. This is a serious factor for me.
I took the time to write this, so it must mean I am very happy with it. (just thought about it and I've never reviewed an Apple product of mine) If you use serious apps and need the power with flexibility, get this lapto....tabl....thing!
This product is... Good sound quality, A touch pad that works great, Perfect for Business, Big screen size, easy to set up
About me... Technology guru, Regularly process large video or graphics files, Business Professional, motion graphics
I would recommend this to a friend!

Is there an expansion slot for additional SSD storage?

Was reading a link here
http://jeffreypalermo.com/blog/adding-a-second-ssd-to-my-lenovo-yoga-amp-8gb-ram/
about a guy who updated his Yoga and added a second hard drive. I was wondering if the Yoga Pro also offered this same expansion slot because I cannot get by with 256GB, and do not want to hassle with my external HDDs.
Doubtful..... Probably not room for anything, but I could be completely wrong. OWC sells a USB 3.0 external 128 GB or 256 GB SSD drive. No external power and around 400-500 Mb/s. I love it. I use it as a cache drive for Adobe programs on my Yoga.
