What's great about it: A lot of memory, battery lasts long
What's not so great: keyboard
For the price point this is a good laptop. I use it for school and I run software that uses a lot of memory. So far so good. The only thing that bothers me is the keyboard. It's just a little chinsey but I'm kind of particular about keyboards. For the most part this laptop is a good value. For the price the memory capacity is great. I travel with it and it's sturdy. The screen has a nice picture quality. It's quiet. The charge lasts surprisingly long.

windows 8.1

someone told me that if the laptop comes with windows 8 or 8.1 you're better off with a touch screen.Is this true ?? Is windows 8.1 made for touch screens.
8.1 is great with a touchscreen but you won't know any better if you do not use a touchscreen because you can do everyhting you need to without it.
