I purchased the DRONE mobile after buying my remote start from Best Buy. The DRONE app failed to work 80% of the time. Basically, what that means is that I was not able to use any of the features of the device even AFTER paying for their highest tier membership. Yes, that's right, depending on which tier you go with, there is an AFTER PURCHASE membership required that ranges between $49 to $99 per year. Do your homework and look at the tech specs. In 3 years time, I spent over $1200.00 between the remote start and the DRONE app because I decided to pay for a full 3 years up front. What a mistake that was. There is no such thing as customer service at this company either. I was never able to get a hold of anyone. I would send emails to the company only to get notification stating, "YOUR EMAIL HAS BEEN DELETED BY THE RECIPIENT WITHOUT BEING OPENED". The remote start, made by the same parent company, "Arctic Start" had remotes that failed 95% of the time. Such a waste of money!

This item, as is, is great, but there is NO customer service what so ever and in order to use this, there is a monthly service fee that you have to pay. Without paying for this fee, which is $20.00 per month, the device is useless. It will not work because they require you to load any documents to THEIR cloud, not to your PC.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this TV as a deal of the day after reading all of the reviews. I brought the TV home and spent 5 hours trying to set it up. It worked fine if you like a TV that is off-color and pixilates all of the time. I tried, in vein, to adjust the color, but no matter what I did, it was always dull. Several channels were pixilating. 60Hz is not enough for a TV and is certainly not enough for gaming.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

... but in order for it to work, it operates using 4 AA batteries. I, personally, do not like to use AA batteries when using a camera. They require frequent replacement. The salesperson told me that it was a Ni-Cad rechargeable battery, so I bought the camera only to get home, unpack it see the 4 AA batteries. It went right back to the store.

Here's a stupid question.
In ,my defense, I am 66 years old, OK. So, don't go "Jesus Christ." I currently have cable. I want to cut the cord, oh god, I want to cut the cord. I love to get the "news" from ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, MSNBC, etc. Will I have to buy an app for all these channels if I buy this TV and cut the cord??
You can cut the cable, but you may not be able to get your local stations. It all depends what area you live in and what kind of signal you get. As for other programming, you can watch them but you may need to subscribe to other services such as Netflix and Zulu. They cost about $10.00 per month each.

Can you add an Amazon app to this?
I have Amazon prime and Netflix. Am I able to get Amazon on this?
These items are preinstalled on the TV.

charging batteries
can rechargeable batteries be charged in the camera or is a separate charger required?
You will need a separate charger. This camera does not have the capability of charging batteries. It only uses AA batteries, but you can buy the rechargeable ones.

Do you charge it or is it battery operated
I only want it if it does not take batteries and I can just charge it.
It requires 4 AA batteries. You can buy the rechargeable AA batteries, but I prefer Ni-Cad... I returned my camera because of this.
