Just purchased this for my mother and brought it home to test it out first. I was able to connect to the internet but it would keep fading in and out. Thought maybe the router was blocked so made sure that there was a clear path to the DVD player. After being very frustrated to not get a constant connection I boxed back up and will be returning. Yes, it does have a LAN, but I know my mother would not want a long Lan line to her router. Seems like they are making units cheaper and cheaper. I bought one years ago that was much better made and even works upstairs with the internet-guess I will just give my mom this one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this a few weeks ago as an open box and actually when I opened it , it looked like it had never been unwrapped. I like that it is the right size for my living room and tv. The sound is excellent and am very happy with my purchase. I have tried several sound bars and one piece sound systems and this one is the best by far for the money. I would highly recommend!

I purchased this from BB a few weeks ago. Set it up and it does have a nice sound-except the blue tooth did not work. Also wasn't sure if the sub woofer was working properly. I went to the Pioneer website and found that they had posted problems with this particular model and gave a phone number to call. I liked the unit so I began trying to contact the company. Left message, hung up after long wait and sent e-mails ,after several failed attempts to contact company I finally got through (after a long hold of course). They did concede that there were problems with this unit and that it would have to be sent in to Pioneer and they would pay the postage both ways-but that I would have to take it to the nearest Fed Ex office. I ended up taking this back to BB-I figured that if they had such a widespread problem with the unit, why did it get past quality control, also unit was too heavy to transport to Fed Ex. It is too bad, because it did have a good sound and looked nice.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

How to play music from dell latitude D630 laptop to a panasonic scbt-300 home theatre system?
I would like to play music which is on a dell latitude laptop onto my panasonic scbt-300 HTIB ( home theatre in a box)? Can someone please tell me the specific accesories which I need?

It has blue tooth capability and if your laptop has it, that should work. I believe you could also run a cable from the earphone jack on the laptop to the auxillary on the soundbar.

We hooked ours up to our Vizio Tv with the HDMI cable, not working on our TV?
- sound bar does work
- hooked up with HDMI cable
- the Tv shows it has found the sound bar but not connecting apparently (no sound)
- it will turn off the Tv speaker but no sound is coming from the sound bar
- anything we can trouble shoot to get this thing to work or will have to return

It is a bit touchy. At first the same thing happened to me but I unplugged the power and let it recycle. The subwoofer automatically finds the sound bar. When I turn off the tv-I have to hit the power button for the sound to come back on and there is a 2 or 3 second delay before it comes back on. ( I did not have it turn off the sound of my tv-I just turned it down manually)

after 3 weeks of having this sound bar in my home, the remote stopped working. I then replaced the battery to no avail. I guess I need a new remote. i
the remote worked for about 3 weeks, then stopped working. Replaced the battery to no avail. What should I do next. I am so unhappy. Love the sound bar, hate not having a working remote. Please help. JW.
Go to the Pioneer website. They have a notice that they had issues with this model-also it should still be under warranty. They will pay postage both ways to fix the unit.
