I just got this vacuum tonight, and vacuumed with it as soon as I got home. It was absolutely amazing what this vacuum picked up that my old one wasn't! Although I had a "pet" vacuum before, it was not picking up my cat's long hair. All it was doing was clumping it up and leaving it on the floor! This vacuum not only picked up those clumps, but got all the pet hair and dirt that I couldn't see! I filled the dirt canister with the first cleaning after all the buildup of what my old vacuum could not pick up. I recommend this product to anyone, but especially someone with pets that has trouble getting rid of the hair! Absolutely amazing product.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hard to push on carpet

The vacuum is very hard to push on carpet. I have area rugs in the living room and dining room ...no problem on floors. Setting is on 2. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Turn the setting up until it gets easier to push. You can turn it all the way up to 5 if you want. Also try turning off the multifloor brushroll by stepping on the pedal on the left hand side.

Hard to push

This vac works great on all carpet in house except new living room carpet. This vac is hard to push and is on highest setting , You have to keep it moving fast or it sucks to carpet and is hard to get moving. Any help would be appreciated as I am exhausted after vacuuming my 12x15 living room.
Have you turned off the multifloor brushroll? This could be making it difficult to push. Just step on the gray pedal on the left hand side to turn it off.
