What's great about it: Wireless, print anywhere in house
What's not so great: Nothing
The printer is easy to setup. Love the ability to scan and copy. Another plus is it is light weight less than10 lbs. Best Buy was great on delivery, could not have been easier

What is the top three printers on the market for doing both documents and photos?

I am prejudicial, I love HP Photosmart and Office Jet 8650, they work and work, and work. I like that they are wireless because I can print to them in my iPhone 4s as a breeze anywhere in my house within 400' of my router. Get the 'eprint' app.

basic reliable printer

Am looking for a basic printer that does'nt suck down the ink and make me buy colors that I don't even use. I only use once in a while to print a page or document. I don't care about color or photos. Sure could use some help on this one after going thru too many printers a cartridges that don't last. Thanks
I got it Christmas, but based on the New printers from HP and low volume user, a ream of paper every 60 days, I guess the cartridge would last 6-12 months, a guess only.

What devices/systems is the printer compatible with?

In the details it says select devices but I didn't find a list of compatible devices. Where can I find it?
I am using it with Windows 8.1, no problems
