What's great about it: Size, tablet/laptop mode
What's not so great: Wifi is slow
I've had the Lenovo Yoga 2 for almost 3 months now. It is the slowest computer I have ever had. The WiFi connection is awful. The most I ever have is 2 bars, but usually it is only 1 bar, and I am only about 25 ft. from the access point. I even bought a new router thinking that was the problem, but it didn't help.
Everyone is saying how fast theirs is so I wonder if I got a lemon. Clearly I am passed my 14 days to return it to Best Buy or I would have done just that. On another website I read a lot of complaints about people having trouble with the wifi and Lenovo cannot seem to fix the problem. I wish I had visited that website when I was researching what to buy.
Other than the Wifi issue, it is an ok laptop. I like the size and the tablet function. It is very portable, lightweight, and has good battery life.
This product is... A nice compact size, easy to set up
About me... Budget Conscious, Comfortable with technology
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What's great about it: Easy to install, reasonably priced
What's not so great: No stand
Priced reasonably and serves its purpose. The stand would have been nice.
About me... Budget Conscious, Need to install software, Need a simple backup solution

Upgrading and slow labtop

This is my second Lenovo Yoga 2 11 in 48 hours. The other I took back because frankly it crashed. My current one I am attempting to upgrading windows and it is so so slow. I have never seen something run this slow. I left it on all night to upgrade and it is still going and saying 0%. The sales person told me there is a prompt or something that says to upgrade to windows 8.1, where is that? I am thinking of returning this product, unless I can get some answers. It also keep disconnecting from the wifi at home that I have never had a problem with. I love the durability and feel of this computer but out of the box is not working to my satisfaction. Please help.
I had a similar problem with Wifi. However, after I did the Lenovo registration and Lenovo update, it is working much better and faster

Battery Life

How many hours can I anticipate usage on a full charge??
I usually get a good 6 hours on a full charge checking email, Facebook, browsing and reading a book on the Kindle App.

Is there a program to use like Microsoft Word to make posters or documents?

No, Microsoft Word does not come with this. I already had it so i installed it. I also use Google Docs which is something you might consider.
