It makes a little more than 1 week that I have this case. It is nice to feel its iPad Air protected but as I bought it to protect it from the sand, I am somewhat disappointed. First sand sticks to the gummy part of the case. Second, the case screen is already very scratched: quite surprising indeed. I keep the case for the children but for my personal use, I will change to a simple bag, what has been perfect so far for my Nook HD+ tablet and for my iPhone 5.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
