I purchased this watch before its release and have had it for a little over 3 months now. It is positively loaded with options, and the Connect store doubles that. I am a very active person and I had to disable a bunch of the features, though it is nice you can do so. I really like the color screen and customization options. For a fitness-only watch, this blows the Apple Watch out of the water (figuratively and literally - the Apple Watch isn't waterproof). The amount of fitness data both on the watch and viewable via the Garmin phone app is insane. The only cons I have are that it is bulky and the all-black body (you can get color bands) needs to have some more colorful options. The bulk isn't an issue for every day wear, but I can't wear it when I sleep.
Pros: amazing amount of features, user friendly, extremely customizable, data overload, durable, waterproof, a true fitness wearable.
Cons: Not 'sexy' (the original vivoactive looked way better), a little bulky, no watch body color options, may be a little large for smaller wrists.

PROS: Absolutely gorgeous image, upscaling of broadcast 1080i/p and 720p to 4k, price
CONS: Getting the contrast setting just right takes a little work
I originally wanted to purchase the SUHD version of this television, but (as silly as it sounds) I did not like the look of the silver frame. Strangely, I actually purchased a Sony due to the oft mentioned superior native up-scaling from 1080i to 4K; however, after reading about the light bleed and seeing it first hand at the Best Buy store, I exchanged it for the Samsung before I even left the store.
I took it home and placed it right on the wall mount where my 55" Samsung plasma had stood minutes before. I LOVE my plasma, it just was not big enough for the location - it is perfect in our guest bedroom now.
Once I conected the few wires I fired it up and my wife and I stood in silent awe as we seemingly watched our favorite programs for the first time ever. The picture and upscaling are absolutely fantastic. And that is on regular 1080i or 720p cable broadcasting.
We purchased the NetFlix 4k upgrade as all NetFlix original series are filmed and streamed in native 4K. I can't explain what that is like - it just has to be seen. It is like being at the movie theater.
This television is absolutely fantastic. I see is currently $1999 (just got my PriceMatch Refund!): you would be crazy not to pick it up at that price before it is sold out.
Be sure to mount this TV (like any LCD/LED) at eye level as the wash-out at any large angles detracts from the image.
The only thing that is a little tricky is the contrast. The contrast is SO dramatic that it needs a little tweaking, both by the normal contrast setting and by the Samsung contrast mode setting. But once you find your sweet spot, wow!
I can't review the audio as I have a 7.1 system running through a separate reciever.

Please see my review of the AS30, as this is a fantasitc camera and the AS100 is all of the AS30 and more. I really appreciate the crisp video and multiple recording formats. The image stabilizer is first-rate. With the AS100, burst mode for still photography is also added which is an excellent feature.
I have ony one minor complaint of this version that is problably more specific to my usage than most: I do not like that Sony removed the ability to manually choose between 120-degree and 170-degree view while taking still photographs. It only allows the user to take 170-degree pictures, while the AS30 allowed the user to take both. I take a lot of still photos, and the 120-degree angle is very importatnt to me.
If you are going to use this primarilly for video or burst photograpy, than the AS100 is definatly the way to go, though.

I really love my Sony Action Cam AS30. I use a GoPro Black at work (owned by the company) and I find my AS30 superior in several ways, particularly at the price point for comparable models. The ergonomics of the way the camera's profile is oriented feels much better in the hand when off-mount than the GoPro, and the motion-stabilty function is awesome. It is almost surreal: when mounted to a helmet or handlebar, the video almost 'floats' as if on a stable flying platform.
I really like the fact that the included housing has a standard camera/tripod mount which means that out-of-the-box it can attach to anything you can attach a regualr camera to. The GoPro has a propietary mount and while you can buy a standard mount attachment, this adds about 1 1/4" to overall mounting height. The case itself is perfect for nearly all endevors except true water filming where there will be any full submersion. In these cases the picture becomes blurry while submerged. To solve this, also get the alternate housing for submersion (up to 150 feet or so). It solves all the problems, except you loose some sound quality and button access.
The GoPro has some very techinical aspects whcih are somewhat, and conditionally, better and is a very quality product - but this is only if you really need them and you will pay for them in higher model upgrades. Overall, the Sony is a far superior product for the price and very user friendly. If the casual to semi-pro user was debating between the two, go for the Sony.
I did lose mine a few days ago (no camera could have prevented this user mounting error), so I am heading in today to get the upgrade AS100 which I am very exctied about.

Do I need extra mounting accessories for recording skiing?

It completely depends on your mounting location. I do a lot of very aggressive camera mounting and the answer is yes and no. If you are going to mount it on the ski iteslf, say pointing at the skier, then you are going to have to sacrifice a ski with any camera. This is because you will use a standard helmet mount, but will have to use a very strong industrial epoxy. If you are going to side-mount it on a helmet for Point-of-View perspective, the standard included adhesive mount SHOULD hold (I recommend adhereing the base with epoxy in any case). There are numerous other views you can have, and each may have it's own mounting needs. Or you can just hold the thing, which requires nothing but a hand.
