It completely depends on your mounting location. I do a lot of very aggressive camera mounting and the answer is yes and no. If you are going to mount it on the ski iteslf, say pointing at the skier, then you are going to have to sacrifice a ski with any camera. This is because you will use a standard helmet mount, but will have to use a very strong industrial epoxy. If you are going to side-mount it on a helmet for Point-of-View perspective, the standard included adhesive mount SHOULD hold (I recommend adhereing the base with epoxy in any case). There are numerous other views you can have, and each may have it's own mounting needs. Or you can just hold the thing, which requires nothing but a hand.
