I admit that I prefer Sandisk Flash Drives and Memory Cards, even if they're a little more expensive than other brands, but I purchased this item when it was on sale, so it actually was one of the best buys (no pun intended) around at the time. I've seen it on sale at least twice recently, so perhaps the older USB 2.0 drives are being phased out. However, all but one of my devices only have USB 2.0 ports, so this USB 2.0 flash drive is fine. And, actually, USB 2.0 usually is fast enough, anyway. It also has a great capacity.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I ordered these batteries when they showed up in a Deal of the Day e-mail. They definitely are a good value when on sale and seem to last as long as other Alkaline batteries. The only reason I'm giving them a 4-star rating is because of their relatively near expiration date. Prior to purchasing these batteries, I had purchased another brand of AA batteries that had a 2025 expiration date. I was surprised to find that these batteries had a 2019 expiration date. I considered returning them, but then figured that I probably could use them by that date and save the previously purchased batteries to use after these.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Is this compatible with Windows 10?
I don't have anything later than Windows 8.1, so I cannot test it with Windows 10. However, the SanDisk website says that they are compatible. Now, having said that, I have read of an instance in which a person upgraded to Windows 10 and had problems with USB 2.0 drives (though not specifically this one). Thus, it theoretically should work, but you might want to hold onto your package and receipt, just in case.

Does it work in a cell phone
I think you're thinking of a Micro SD card such as the one I added below, which is used in many cell phones. As far as connecting it to a cell phone, this drive has a standard USB interface, which will not connect directly to a cell phone. You would need a cable to go from standard USB to Micro USB or to the specific iPhone port your phone has.

is it mac ready? Of is formatting required before storing files?
This drive is formatted FAT32, so it can be used both for reading and writing with a Mac for most uses. The two limitations are:
1. It cannot accept files larger than 4Gb (which is a limitation of FAT32, so is the same when used on a Windows machine).
2. It will not work with Time Machine, which requires that a drive be in the standard Mac format.
If you want to write files larger than 4Gb to it, you can reformat it to exFAT and it will still be compatible with both Mac and PC (though Windows XP and Vista would require specific Service Packs to be compatible)
If you're only using it with a Mac, you also could reformat it to the standard Mac format.
