I purchased two 5TB external HDD's to keep a redundant backup of system images. The other HDD purchased was a Seagate (http://www.bestbuy.com/site/seagate-backup-plus-desktop-5tb-external-usb-3-0-2-0-hard-drive-black/5127069.p?id=1219111162112&skuId=5127069) and this WD is wayyyyyyyyy faster, about 150% faster, they are both USB3.0, so it must have faster r/w speeds. Definitely recommend this over the Seagate.

Works well with any object, including gloved hand. Great quality image, brightness, viewing angle and stand (very adjustable). Convenient to have USB ports for extra peripherals, and freedom for connection types (VGA, DVI, Displayport). VESA mounting brackets if you need to mount. Even comes with a cleaning kit. Very good buy compared to ELO.

I am an IT professional and software developer, and let me start with I KNOW MY TECH. This laptop offers great specs for the price, I mean an 5th gen i7, 12GB DDR3 RAM, 2-in-1 functionality for less than $1000... pretty awesome. I also purchased a 250GB SSD to replace the 1TB HDD with at time of purchase, I installed a fresh un-bloated copy of Windows 8.1 on this SSD and this laptop was now blazing fast (<10s cold boot time, and instant click gratification). All this was great, but there is one giant issue I could not get passed, THE SCREEN HAS VERTICAL LINES THROUGHOUT FROM THE TOUCH DESIGN. These vertical lines are not very visible when a bright solid color is displayed, however any light, or white backgrounds are very annoyingly overlayed by a ton of vertical lines. Plus the viewing angles are horrific. I really don't know what the hell HP was thinking here. But I am now going to purchase a Thinkpad Carbon.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This TV is excellent for a nice $499 price tag! It has excellent color and brightness, clear HD picture as expected. Great appearance in frame rate for a 60fps, it uses some patented technology to created a better looking motion for just a 60hz tv, and it shows. Not a smart TV but I have peripherals I prefer to use anyway. The sound quality is good, a little hollow sounding but still clear and decent presence (you can adjust a 2 band EQ if desired).
Complaints: Not a big deal for the price but here are some cons for this TV. There are only 2 HDMI inputs, there are NO RCA audio outs, only an optical output (which my surround sound doesn't have). And the black color is not as dark/black as I would like it to be, I mean it still looks great but I was hoping for a little deeper blacks on this LED TV. Also the screen is glossy, not over the top glossy but glossy enough to reflect the sunlight shining through the windows and prompt me to pump up the backlight/brightness.
All in all, this is a phenomenal value. I didn't want to spend $600+ for a TV right now and this is well worth the price.
I would recommend this to a friend!

HOw do I connect this to a Lenovo Yoga with micro hdmi?
I can't seem to find a cable to connect the monitor ports with the Yoga micro hdmi.
I think it has a mini displayport as well, I would use that with a cable like this: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/startech-mini-displayport-to-displayport-cable-audio-video-cable/1312124941.p?id=mp1312124941&skuId=1312124941
or you would need to buy an mini-hdmi to female hdmi adapter, and a hdmi to DVI cable.

Short: Yes
Long: It functioned as a plug and play device for my windows 8.1 machine, same for windows 10 tech preview. If you have issues, it ships with a disc which contains a Windows 8 compatible driver.

Is this monitor for rugged industrial use? Is it VESA mount?
It is a business class device, and yes it has VESA mounts. We are using it in a laboratory with heavy 12 hour+ / day use. Seems to be holding up very well. We are moving from the ELO monitors to save money, plastics seem to be comparable, the screen looks much better. I would recommend a screen protector though.

Does the battery actually last a full day?
And is a full day 24 hours?
My battery lasts between 12-15 hours with Ambient Mode ON, and 35-40 hours with Ambient Mode OFF. I have had the watch for a few weeks now using the latest update and this is what I am consistently getting.

Can Moto 360 change a band of goods on the market ?
If you are asking if you can change the band, then yes. A standard 22 mm watchband will fit. I bought the Pebble Steel band and it looks great!

Does it have an always on watch face?
Sort of... It has an ambient mode, which turns the ambient watch face on whenever the watch is in motion (not-just-the-rotating-my-wrist-to-look-at the-time motion), any motion will activate this, but it does not always stay on, times out after no motion in about 3-5 seconds. Perhaps in a future update....

Data Recovery
If an electrical surge took place that disabled the backup hard drive. Would the data be erased or safe on the drive. Would the digital format for reading files be corrupted? Would the data be retrievable? Would it depend on an internet based cloud for a system recovery? Would the drive be able to receive an internet cloud recovery?
First off buy a cheap UPS to prevent this from happening. To answer your question, your data will probably be safe its like pulling the power from a PC, most of the time you computer will not be damaged from this happening. There is the extremely rare occurrence where cutting power can damage the R/W head or disk but this is highly unlikely, you'll be fine. Also there is no "cloud backup" service that comes with this WD NAS, this is your personal cloud, you can always used advanced features to back up this WD NAS to another internet based service to be safe. Yes, you will need to download their WD My Cloud app from the App Store to do this.
