What's great about it: Big sound out of a small package.

What's not so great: update of the remote.

I had the same basic system for another tv, and I loved the sound and effects. So when we purchased a new tv, we bought another sound bar for it. Neither tv is a Samsung , so I have to use a separate remote for the sound. That being said, the sound bar can be set to come on when the tv is turned.
My only complaint, is when they updated the unit Samsung changed around controls on the remote. So therefore removes commonality of operation. Bad enough to use multiple remotes, but to have the same style sound bars and different remotes is not logical. Change just for changes sake is wrong.

Still I like the sound and would buy another.

How to control volume to samsung sound bar with cablevision remote

We had it programmed for my old tv. Just got a new one and it doesn't work when it's on DVD. Help please

I have dish network, and was able to connect the soundbar to my aux button on my remote.
Now, it will only control the volume, but any other changes need to be done with the Samsung remote.

Can you connect a Bluetooth headset?

With the built-in Bluetooth capability, can a headset be connected for private listening?

The bluetooth capability is between the soundbar and the sub-woofer.
If your tv is bluetooth capable, then maybe you can connect a bluetooth headset to the tv direct.
