What's great about it: Tracks everything we wanted to track seemingly accurately.
What's not so great: Issues with syncing and buttons not working. Best Buy support has been virtually useless.
Got the device for my wife. Worked good for about a week except for never being able to sync it using the PC. Wasn't a big deal as could sync it via bluetooth with the phone. The started having issue where the buttons wouldn't respond and now it has totally stopped syncing.
Contact BASIS support and they sent a replacement charging cradle to fix the PC sync issue but that still didn't work. When the buttons stopped working reliably BASIS told us it needed to be replaced but it should be done through Best Buy since we bought from them with a replacement plan.
Called Best Buy support one evening and before placing me on hold with someone that was supposed to take care of the replacement they told me I could take care of it in the store. Waited 15 minutes for no one to ever come back on the line before hanging up.
Stopped in at a store, which isn't really convenient to go to, spent 20-30 minutes at the Geek Squad desk for them to figure out that the product would just be replaced (they never actually try to fix this type of product), they told me I could have done all of this with phone or online support. They then sent to the customer service desk to process the replacement. I waited another 15-20 minutes while the associate there asked other customer service and geek squad associates how to process the replacement with no one being able to do it. Finally they got the store manager. She wanted to take the device and my info and she would process the replacement later (in other words, I don't think she knew how to do it either) I didn't have the box or cradle with me so she told me there would be a charge for those items if we did the replacement now. What a waste of time.
My wife wanted to continue to use the device and we were hoping/expecting to do an advance replacement on the item. Now that the device has completely stopped syncing I've tried to contact support online and I was told the only way to do this is through the store which completely contradicts what I was told on the phone and in store.
My sister-in-law has the device and has no issues. I think we just got a bad one and will be fine if we can ever get this one replaced but the Best Buy replacement plan is a joke and impossible to navigate.

Does it tell time?
I'm not familiar with fitness watches. In addition to the fitness features does this device also tell time like a conventional watch?
