I am writing this review in November and I bought the computer in May. I think a lot of people unbox, plug-in then review. You have to have the device awhile for a proper review. Anyway this is a decent enough computer. The Good - Quiet, after startup you never hear a sound. There has not been any kind of heat or power issue. It has run perfectly smooth since the day I got it. The graphics card has enabled me to play any game I tried but to be honest my game purchasing strategy is to buy older games when the price drops so I haven't really tried to push this machine to it's limits. All performance tests give me great readings in processor speed and GPU performance. I usually have a lot going on even when switching to playing a game. For instance I will have my WebRoot acive, Chrome with about 8 tabs open and a folder or two with either a video player or Word doc open as well. It never prevents me from doing anything smoothly. I have never had to make adjustments in order to do what I wanted to do because I was taxing the memory or something. I bought a HP25vx Monitor and it's also fine. Maybe not the greatest specs but I'm kind of suspicious about what my human eye can see. Would I really notice if I'm looking at a $200 monitor as opposed to a $400 monitor if they weren't side by side? I don't think so. I run native 1920x1080 resolution. I always keep a FPS counter and it's always running 60 or better. Webroot is Great although it didn't detect malware hidden in some PDF's I downloaded but I was able to identify it via process of elimination without any lasting damage. Since I had the Geek Squad do the setup, I didn't have them take it out of the box when I picked it up. I should have because it has this cool transparent side of the tower where you can look in and there is an app that comes with this PC where you can change the color and blinking speed of the lights. But the inside is totally smudged and dirty and still remains after 6 months because I am afraid to take it apart to clean it. But that's just me. Purchasing a PC from Best Buy is a really good idea because of the Geek Squad. Initially they cover hardware then after 3 years just software - but for as long as you want to pay the $99/yr. Well worth it because they can remotely login to your computer and fix virtually anything without you having to bring it in to the store and be without it for a period of time. I have a Geek Squad contract on at least one device since 2012. That brings me to the manufacturer help desk. You call and after a robot asks you if you purchased it online or at a store you are immediately connected to an agent. Amazing. Toshiba is like hours of waiting. These guys are really kind of smug and sarcastic but they do the job. Overall you have to give the manufacturer support grade as excellent because of their accessibility. The only bad is the peripheral equipment. I have already bought a new keyboard because I really hated theirs but maybe that's just me. The keyboard layout was kind of weird and the Enter Key doubled spaced while the number pad one didn't. Plus the keys don't light up. There is just a light on the sides of the keyboard for looks. There is a wired mouse. Wired because, as they explained to me, you get a faster response time when gaming. However, the mouse has a really cheap feel to it and I also switched to a basic wireless Logitech. Also there is really no manual. Just a real technical thick booklet on the inputs/outputs, processor and GPU. It didn't tell me what the extra buttons on the mouse did. When I called, they told me this middle button with a slider that says 'dpi' on it doesn't do anything. Just a back and forward button in addition to the standard right and left mouse buttons(and middle wheel/button). So that kind of miffed me. If you're selling high-end gaming computers to people who know what they're doing why have some useless gimmick. When I bought this computer there were zero reviews. By the time I picked it up there were 3. Now there is a lot and mostly quite good. My review breaks down - kind of pricey but does the job. Mouse and keyboard are subpar. So far so good and (more)time will tell. Can you edit your review every 6 months? That would be really helpful for perspective buyers.

The sound is absolute perfection. The bass is unbelievable. It can hit the high notes as well with not a hint of distortion. I put a towel under the speakers on a shelf above my computer desk to avoid any movement and vibration. The sub woofer sits underneath my desk on a rug. I can't even listen to music on my MP3 player anymore now that I know what perfect sound sounds like. Absolutely worth the price. One oddity is that there is no off switch. The 'on' lite stays lit. However, there is no heat anywhere. Sub woofer is as cool as can be so there has been no issue. Have owned the product for 6 months.. Easy install - just plug into your headphone slot on your computer. SO GLAD I SPENT THE MONEY! You could get something fairly decent for $75 or absolute perfection for $150. The bass is the kicker. It booms. I can feel the burst of air from the sub woofer on my ankles - and I like it. When I demo it for friends they are knocked out by the power of the bass. Despite the German sounding name - it's an American family owned company.

What's great about it: Looks great, powerful
What's not so great: nothing
Great computer so far(2 months). Plays all the games I have bought. Bought a wireless mouse although the touchscreen was adequate. No problems whatsoever. Love the look and the lightup keyboard. People I have shown it to are very impressed. Spent the first several hours tweaking the settings to my personal taste and now it's absolutely perfect. I love it and it is worth every penny. Speakers are much better than the usual laptop. Bought the full geek to be safe. Not crazy about having to go through a level one helpdesk before I can talk to someone who is actually more knowledgeable than myself, but I can live with it. Have just had some basic questions that I probably could have found the answer for on the web but called them just because I could. It's comforting. I bought my computer at BestBuy instead of online so I could talk to a real person if I had a problem and I think that was a wise decision.
This product is... Good sound quality, A touch pad that works great, Easy to set up and is lightning fast
