This is one of my favorite movies, and hearing it would be put out by Shout! Factory was a dream come true. I was a little disappointed at the quality of the new transfer on their recent release of The Transformers, but this film they nailed it harder than I have ever seen it nailed before. I have watched and watched the bare bones bluray, and there is no comparison. The picture is so much noticeably better here. Add to that a whole disc worth of awesome new and archival extras and you have a must-own special edition of this horror classic.

This is my second smart phone following the iPhone 4S. I initially liked how big the screen was, but grew to miss the handy, phone-sized phone I used to have. The android OS is definitely better for me who is mildly tech savvy, and who wants it to do cool things without apple always taking a cut and governing what I can and can't have. It all seemed pretty promising until the phone stopped getting service.
I tried all the regular stuff. Turn it off and on again, call tech support, but I didn't buy the Geek Squad Protection so I was dealing with Sony. Theirs is a courteous and stereotypical call center where folks with the usual accent read off the usual script and tell you to do the usual stuff.
Everything is so average.
Anyway I am deciding to upgrade my phone rather than get it repaired under warranty because they charge the customer to and from shipping for any repairs. Repairs they may or may not cover under warranty, thus leading to 2-4 weeks without your phone and out of pocket expenses for shipping and no gain.
This is the second item this year I have had break on me without protection purchased, and that is my hugest regret. Between this and the dryer I bought second hand I have wasted almost $400.00 I'll never skip the plan on items like this again.
ALL THAT ASIDE, the problem with the phone MAY have stemmed from the fact I stuck some velcro to the back to keep it in its case and occasionally would remove it putting stress on the casing. Not sure if this is what happened, but I doubt it. Next time I'll just get a phone that's popular enough to have cases from good companies.
Hope this helped. Don't buy a Phone from a company because you like their TVs.

Easy to set up. Easy to understand instructions. Works well for me with my old Pioneer receiver. As with any antenna, all sorts of things can affect performance, but upstairs near the window, baseball comes in loud and clear.

I have had this player for the larger part of a decade now, and I have to say that it's a quality piece of work. Great sound quality and longevity. I haven't had to replace the needle and it sounds great.
I have been using the USB ability to record with Sony Sound Forge Audio Studio. This is a reason I removed 1/2 a star. The recording and software work well, but not perfectly. This may be related to the cable I use but there is some noise in the recordings created with this turntable and software. The is a high pitched noise in the background of some recordings I have made, only really audible when the song is quiet or between tracks. I also advise you tread lightly in the room you are recoring in because a stomp on the floor can be reflected in the recording. Regardless, it's still an awesome way to buy new music and get it on your iPod, or in my case, Zune.
The other 1/2 star is lost because a ew years into owning the turntable it became a little bratty. You normally just press start and automatically the arm raises, moves above the album, and gently lowers itself into place and begins playing. Mine, however, will only do that sometimes. Other times It will lower itself, immediately raise itself, move back to the arm rest, lower itself, and stop spinning the platter. Worst is when it gets above the outermost edge and raises and lowers itself in perpetuity. The way to fix these problems is to manually raise the arm, flip down the needle cover, move the arm as far right as it will go, and allow it to lower itself before manually placing it back on the rest. The try again. Or just avoid the whole thing by placing the needle on the track manually.
All in all, a fantastic turntable. A great investment despite its few flaws that I hope to use for ten more years to come.

How do I connect the turntable to bose computer speakers?

How do I connect the turntable to bose computer speakers? The plugs aren't right. I don't understand...help.
I would suggest an adapter. 3.5mm (femaile) to connect to the speakers and RCA/Composite Audio/Red & White (female) to connect to the wires coming from the turntable. If such a cable exists. If it doesn't some male to males and couplers should do. Bring it in to your local best buy and they can help. Make sure to bring either the actual equipment (speakers & turntable) or pictures of the ends of the cables to show an employee. Make sure when you hook it up this way to have the PHONO/LINE switch to line or you may blow out your speakers.

What else do I have to buy to play music?

I don't have any audio equip at the moment. I want to play my LPs and found this turntable attractive. In order to play music, what else do I have to buy? Amprifire? Speaker?
You will need at least a stereo receiver with a couple of speakers and wire for an optimal setup. You could also run it through some simple computer speakers, but for the best sound you will want it going through a receiver of some type.

Can you record directly from turntable to computer?

Is it necessary to have the turntable connected to a stereo while you connect it to a computer to record? Or can you just use the turntable and computer?
You can record direct to computer, but I like to keep mine connected to the receiver so I can listen to it at the same time.

does this work with windows 8?

Mine did tonight. When I bought it it came with Sony Sound Forge Audio Studio so I could record, so that is what I use. It works fine on 8.
