First I will start off by saying that I am an artist whom seeks perfect color accuracy and perfect 2.2 gamma accuracy coupled with near perfect black/ white contrast ratio so the work I do is uniform with prints and on other screens.
Now that being said, This monitor is superb! Perfect Gamma calibration, near perfect color accuracy, and with dynamic contrast enabled, near perfect contrast ratio ( blacks are black! )
I have owned this monitor for about 2 weeks now and have yet to notice any light bleed in the edges of the screen, has fluid motion in movies/ games ( over my LG IPS235v ) It has a nice feature for gamers that reduces ghosting called ( Video OverDrive found under Image Control ) It even features custom scaling for those who may be playing older games or playing PS2 games on a backwards compatible PS3.
This is a darn good buy and am very very happy with my purchase!
HP, you just got yourself a customer!
Only wish this monitor supported AMD freesync, but that isn't enough to take away a star.

OK i have went through many headsets sold directly in the bestbuy store, Razer Kraken pro, Razer Caecharias, and Steel series H3. Now the source is off my asus Xonar DGX sound card running on defaults, no EQ. The razer Kraken Pro's sound very muffled but have good bass, to some maybe to much, the Carcharias have a few design flaws, but once worked around you find the audio is actually very distant, making some sounds inaudible like footsteps and the bass made the speakers crackle, and lastly the steel series H3's, well they where way to small they are the size for toddler's ears, and the audio was a bit tinny, and had really no bass to them. Now these, the Logitech G230's, they are just so crisp and clear, even when using Dolby 7.1 headphone visualization on my xonar, I could hear every bit of sound, from distant footsteps to the dripping of water, which made these immersive, and these things are comfortable! Only thing that could be better is the bass, but! with a few tweaks using the EQ the bass coming from these things is just perfect, gives you nice crisp clean bass, where you hear that rumble but also feel the punch! The mic is even good as well, best i have used yet on a gaming headset! I recommend giving these a try, they will not disappoint!

Ok, first off I have a great sound card on my PC, and used other headphones to compare audio with ( ones i was going to replace with the Kraken Pro ) the sound card is the Asus Xonar STX directly plugged to the rear and not the front panel and the impedance set to 32 - 64 OHMS ( also tried 64 OHMS )
Now this issue is in the speakers, not the actual build of the headset, it's built quite well. To describe the audio quality and touch base with how these are not as advertised is that the sound is muffled, almost as if you are wearing a helmet, and adding that tinnyness to it too. The bass is to much as well, it picks up bass for all audio levels even things that should not be bassy ( voices, clanking, bullet ricochets etc ) . now on the main page for this headset it says and I quote " 10Hz - 100kHz frequency response For faithful sound reproduction. * this information is incorrect the headphones frequency response is 20 - 20,000 HZ ( right on the box ) this means this is a standard / low grade speaker and you are getting basic audio quality.
This was my first Razer product and sadly will be my last.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Can it be used on a Dell inspiron 15 PC as a second monitor?
My 2 year old PC' s attached Monitor is too small for everyday use. Instead of buying a new computer I am thinking of attaching a bigger Monitor. But I need to know whether they are compatible .
it is compatible, and weather or not you can use dual monitors is subject to your graphics card in the computer. Technically it should without a doubt.

Do monitors with ips have a better picture quality?
IPS panel is the best you can get in the monitor department. IPS allows for: Extremely high viewing angles, near perfect color accuracy and uniformity across the screen, near perfect gamma, near perfect contrast ratio.

yes, it has DVI, HDMI and VGA

This doesn't have IPS, is it TN or something else?
this is an IPS Panel, and a very high quality one, you will not be disappointed.

How is the sound isolation?
So far this is the best headset I've found for me, the only problem is that when I would use it I would need it to be able to focus solely on my voice, my friends who would be in the room with me can be very talkative. I'm just a little worried about the location of the mic and it picking up other sounds besides my voice. And if it doesn't have good sound isolation can you point me towards one that does?

no mic has sound isolation. Only sound cards, and software does.

Wrong picture? Are you selling a v2100 or h2100?
While the demo is for the newer h2100 your picture is the older v2100. Really don't want to purchase the older model.

no it's not, it needs drivers to operate.

Corsair H2100 VS Logitech G930
Both are at the same price of around $75-$85. Both wireless, really looking for sound quality and features. both seem to have one or the other. Any recommendations?
the logitech has more features and also has the same audio quality. They both use the same Dolby software.
