What's great about it: battery life, 720p camera, sd card slot, saving pictures, transfering music, and more
What's not so great: offline mode
Screen- The screen is very easy to see on & works in all lighting & the brightness can be adjusted on the keyboard. It also can be tilt back almost flat.
Keyboard-I have big hands & it works just like a regular size keyboard.
Mouse-This track pad is super easy and follows your gestures perfectly when scrolling .
Speakers-Are loud and crisp great for leaving on pandora or iheartradio.
Battery Life-Have had it for 5 days & used it prob a total of 12 hours and there is 12% left. But its based on usage for battery life.
Appearance-The color is off putting but its not ugly or cheap its thin really light. Its like carrying a notebook in your bag you dont even notice. Buy a case and skin decal if the color isn’t for you. But having the sd card slot,usb,, & hdmi ports positivity look great.
Performance-So this can’t replace your laptop as of now everything is web based mostly. You can use most applications offline. The speed on this is super fast never have to wait for anything to load. YouTube 1080p playing once you hit play. Downloading music, movies, or apps or transferring them super fast or if you log into any of your accounts you can stream while downloading a bunch. Typing speed is dead on wpm 85 bam its there. I haven’t used a lot out of this device though so that’s as much as I know about its performance!
Overall- If your tired of touch screen’s and want a decent laptop for everyday usage this is for you. Everything is built in and you don’t have to worry anymore about your windows computer just randomly breaking. I bought this for social media, writing, streaming videos, uploading pictures from a camera, emails, and having a great backup plan for when a device breaks. For $199 this cannot be beat especially if your into apps or online a lot.
The staff was awesome too & helped got me another sd card on sale how sweet! I serioulsey love my chromebook.
This product is... Good sound quality, Perfect for Business, Big screen size, A nice compact size, easy to set up, lightning fast

Howdo you connect your IPot to your chrome laptop?

You cant connect ipods,ipads, or iphones to this its not compatable with itunes at this time. 2/11/2014.

I want to use this for internet based booking for my business. Will there be overheating issues if the unit is left on for 10 hours at a time daily?

Not at all there is a cooling fan in it. I leave mine on 24/7 it also comes with a warranty if it does over heat.

Wireless printers Hp,Brother, & Cannon Series from 2013 2012 models is what ive printed from wirelessly.

Is this Chromebook compatible with PDF docs?

I am looking to use it for business, would like to know if its compatible with PDF?

Mainly because I will be needing to download, edit and print PDF forms from the Secretary of State.

Can't Connect To My Wi-Fi

I cannot connect to my Wi-Fi. The Chromebook can find the network and attempt to connect but fails. Occasionally it will briefly connect but then loses the connection and just continues to try unsuccessfully to connect. I brought the Chromebook in and had The Geek Squad look at it. They couldn't solve the problem so I'm left with a Chromebook that can't connect to my network although I can connect to other Wi-FI networks. I have another computer at home that can connect to my Wi-Fi
I had this problem with my household devices for the longest time. If its not your chromebook its most likely you need a new modem and router. I had this problem start with my ipad & couldnt figure out why it kept disconnecting or just wouldnt connect for any reason but any other device would. So once we switch to U-verse we received a new router and modem and no problems with connectivity issues anymore.

Try that hope that helps! I just got a chromebook so idk much!
