Dynex™ - 3.3' USB 2.0 Type-A-to-Apple® 30-Pin Charge-and-Sync Cable - Black
Keep your Apple iPad, iPod or iPhone charged and ready for use with this Dynex™ DX-DIP30 3.3' USB cable that easily syncs your device to a PC or laptop.

Why can't I sync iTunes Music to my ipod using this cable?

Ipod charges fine with this cable, but is not recognized by iTunes and therefore I cannot sync music.
It should be able to sync to your iTunes account using the cable. Check to make sure that your computer's usb port isn't damaged, or that iTunes's files haven't been corrupted. Try restarting your computer and iTunes, then try plugging the cord in after iTunes has launched. If the problem still continues, make sure that your computer is recognizing the cord itself by going into the computer (C:\\) and checking for it there. Depending on your operating system, you might be able to launch an active scan of the ports that are open/used (or install a program that does). Finally, if that doesn't work, I would suggest you either return the product under warranty for another one, or try your luck with another cord. I purchased mine (same model/company, different site) and it has been working for months now. Hope this helps. :)
