TiVo Mini brings the multi-room experience to the TiVo Universe.
The TiVo Mini is a great companion piece to bring the TiVo experience without having to add multiple Cable Cards and Multiple TiVo Service fees to different rooms of your house or apartment.
TiVo Mini is compatible with all TiVo Roamio's (Roamio OTA and Roamio Basic requires a MoCA bridge to use the MoCA enabled TiVo Mini# and Premiere 4 and Premiere XL4 #You can still find these on sites like eBay for a really in expensive price).
Having the ability to record shows on a central TiVo box and stream them to other rooms #Up to 6 Mini's can be connected to a single TiVo Roamio# with the ability to watch Live TV and your recordings, schedule season passes, and do pretty much everything you can with your main TiVo box.
The only caveat to the TiVo's MoCA setup #which is a great way to hook up your TiVo Mini to your main TiVo box# is you will need a MoCA POE #Point of Entry# Filter to keep the MoCA signal inside your house.
I have had my TiVo mini for 2 months now and I love it, the low profile combined with the RF remote #replaced the RF remote with the Slide Pro remote) makes this a win for those who want to hide their cable box behind a closed cabinet door or even behind the TV, or mounted on the wall.
If you own a TiVo that is compatible with the TiVo mini it's a no brainer as for the price it includes Product LIfetime Service, potentially saving $15 a month on TiVo service fees.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Add high-end performance to your everyday life with the Google Pixel XL. A quad-core processor, a 5.5-inch LED screen and 32GB of memory ensure this phone is able to handle daily life, and Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protects the screen. Easy cloud storage ensures you never run out of space on the Google Pixel XL.

Why the price is higher than Google Store?

I believe that is a placeholder price. Once it's on pre-order the price should be similar to what is on Google's website

Roku 1: Instantly stream your favorite content by connecting your TV to the Internet. Get set up in just a few easy steps, and access more than 2,000 channels of streaming entertainment. Find movies and shows in a flash with one-stop search or use your compatible device as a Roku remote.

Is there a econimical device like the Roku that is also a digital conveter for older TVs?

Is there a econimical device like the Roku that is also a digital conveter for older TVs? I need one that is compatable with Timewarner cable.
I would recommend a TiVO Roamio OTA it allows streaming apps like Netflix, Hulu, and Pandora and allows you to connect an HD antenna to get over the air TV channels digitally, I believe you will have to buy a separate set of composite (Red, White, and Yellow) cables that are compatible with the Roamio OTA. The only caveat to this is there is a $15 a month service fee to TiVo to use the Roamio OTA, but it's totally worth it.

1 have 3 tvs living room bedroom and kitchen (apartment) If I buy a box for each TV, Will my computer modem work all

As long as you have a strong enough Wireless signal you should be able to connect multiple RoKu's to multiple TV's in your house. Easiest way to check is to take your phone or tablet and go to the WiFi menu and walk to where the RoKu's will be placed and see how strong the signal is, if you have a good strong signal than the RoKu should have a strong signal. This should work for all wireless devices but not always depending on the Wireless Radio in your phone/table vs the Wireless radio in your RoKu but it should work with no issues.

what is the difference between the roku l and the roku 2.?

does one Roku fit a certain tv and the other fit a smart tv? I have a new TV but it is not a smart TV. I would like to set up Roku and I do have a HD port but also have the colored red yellow and white on the back. Which Roku do I get for wifi streaming?
As long as you have a good wireless connection to connect the RoKu to, and an available HDMI port, you can and will be able to use any RoKu, the only drawback is there are some TV's where the HDMI port is to close to another HDMI port or at a very odd angle and I would advise to get an HDMI extender

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/dynex-3-hdmi-cable-extender-black/8620025.p?id=1219697995430&skuId=8620025

As this will allow the RoKu to be connected but have enough slack to not have to worry about the other HDMI ports (I would check to see if you need it before ordering the HDMI extender)

What no wifi you are kidding, othe TiVo Romano does why not TiVo mini??

WiFi is spotty at best, unless you have a really strong really stable WiFi network you can count on dropped shows or pixilation if you were to use WiFI on the Mini. TiVo wanted to ensure the best possible performance of the TiVo Mini that's why they didn't include WiFi on this box.

Using MoCA (which is what the TiVo Roamio Pro, Plus, Premiere 4 and Premiere XL4 all have built in) With the purchase of a $5 MoCA POE filter your home's existing COAX (Cable TV lines) will send the single with no issue.

And the WiFi on the Roamio is for streaming services like Pandora and Netflix which are optimized for wireless, which is why you will notice a programs quality drop if the internet signal is to slow or your wireless drops below a certain point. It's good but Wireless isn't the best for streaming video, hardwired is always preferred.
