Not recently. Most (if not all) external drives are auto formatted with NTFS or a Mac base that only allows one to read/write while the other is read only. Older drives were formatted using the classic FAT 32 system which allowed both Mac and PC OS's to communicate, however, the FAT 32 system does not recognize files over 4GB and won't allow them to be copied to the drive.
I personally haven't looked too far into being able to access the HD from both OSs, if there is something I've needed to back up I throw it on a flash drive and put it on the other computer that has access to the external drive, but that could obviously get irritating after a while.
So long story short, sadly no, these Seagate drives do not support both OSs at the same time.
