What's great about it: Good price
What's not so great: Battery life is less than average
This battery is great to have as a backup for the Nikon brand camera battery that came with my D5100. Don't get stuck with a dead battery on location, always carry a spare!
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Nikon brand lasts through hundreds of shots
What's not so great: Too expensive
This is a great battery. At full charge, I've photographed entire wedding days with it on my D600 without ever having to change batteries.
It is expensive though. I only purchased it because there were no generic brands left in the store, and I needed it right away.
I would recommend this to a friend!
