What's great about it: Screen is excellent, computer is reasonably fast
What's not so great: HP Support, cheap keyboard
As an IT professional, I have purchased numerous Laptops over the years and more from HP than anyone else. One of the reasons I loved HP was their support. I just found out that they no longer have lifetime support for free as they did in the past. For me this makes HP no better than Dell and other computers.
As for this computer, for the most part it is high quality and the screen is exceptional. My only complaint is the keyboard, which is very cheap and difficult to use.

What's great about it: The precision of the sound
What's not so great: NA
I am an avid listener to most forms of music, but my main preference is Classical / Opera. I have had many stereo systems over the years, but until I bought these speakers, I never heard music at home, at its best. Listening to a symphony, piano concerto, opera, etc. with these speakers sounds almost as good as a live performance. The frequency range is excellent and balanced, but the think that I like best about them is the precision of the sound. Every note coming from these speakers sounds perfect. Voices sound just like they should. I cannot imagine a better set of speakers.
This product has... Right size for my space, Easy to set up, Good build quality

Is it Windows 8 or 8.1 on this laptop (Model: m7-j120dx)?
The overview says Windows 8, the Specs list says Windows 8.1. So far two reviewers said they had to upgrade to 8.1, while another listed 8.1 as being something they liked about this computer, inferring it came with it already installed. In a question someone else asked about the difference between this model (Model: m7-j120dx) and Model m7-j020dx, an HP Rep responded that this model has Windows 8 and the m7-j020dx has Windows 8.1. This information is rather conflicting. It would seem to me that the m7-j120dx would be a newer version than the m7-j020dx since the model number is one higher, but, again, an HP Rep responded the opposite. Can someone tell me for sure which version of Windows is on this model? Thanks in advance!
Mine came with windows 8, but I was able to upgrade to 8.1 for free from the Microsoft website. Note that the upgrade took several hours, so plan ahead before you start running the upgrade
