I looked around at several different gaming displays before purchasing this specific model and found it to be SO worth it. Compared to the Acer Predator monitor (which was the baseline for my purchasing decision) this monitor offers so much bang for the buck. Originally priced at $699, I was able to take mine home for $390. The response times are superb, the colors are true and clear, the resolution is amazing, and the lack of on-board speakers sucks. Ha. (But really, was super disappointed to find that there aren't on-board speakers on this puppy- truly my only complaint.) You won't regret purchasing this beauty, especially if you can get it on sale.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: It's a sturdy, standout piece with lots of shelf space.
What's not so great: Collects dust if you're not into cleaning.
I find that this stand is a perfect fit for everyone. It was incredibly easy to put together, the instructions were straightforward, it looks stunning with my 55" TV and sound bar, and it has lots of shelf space (you can fit Blu-ray on the middle shelf!!). I'm extremely pleased with it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

A/V Receiver Hook Up
How does the sound bar hook-up if you have an A/V receiver hooked up as a 3D pass through (e.g., Denon AVR-E300)? Does the sound bar hook up to the TV with internal speakers off or does it hook up to the A/V receiver? I want to be able to listen to music from the A/V receiver through the sound bar.
The sound bar has multiple inputs from the undercarriage of the bar. The connections are: TV Input (Optical, Coaxial, component R/L) and AUX Input (Optical, Coaxial).
I would just input all my audio sources into that Denon and then TV optical in to the sound bar. From there, any sound into the Denon gets played by the bar. If that isn't possible for you, TV optical in, and then use the AUX optical in for your Denon.

Is this considered a 1.1, 2.1, or 3.1 system, or something else?
Since the system is designed to beam 3D sound, it should be considered 5.1 or greater. Its so clear that, opposed to a 5.1 or 7.1, I cant tell where the sound is coming from. It's more like 100.10 if that were a real thing.
