What's great about it: Easy to use, good price, quieter than old shredder
What's not so great: Recepticle could be bigger
Replaced an old Fellows shredder that was replaced 2X under warranty. This shredder makes my old one sound like a wood chipper, now I can shred at night and not wake up the dead. The receptacle could be bigger, but then again that would increase the costs. So far I have shred 3 bankers boxes full of papers. Although the shredder states that I can shred up to 10 pages at a time, I shredded 5 or less because the paper I was shredding was a heaver weight than your standard copy paper (I believe it is 40lb bond). The handle on top makes it easier to remove the shredder from the receptacle.
I am quite happy with my purchase, only time will tell if it holds up. This is for a home use and not business so it should last. I just need to remember to do the once a month maintenance of drizzling some cooking oil on a couple of sheets of paper and then running them through the shredder to keep it lubed.
I would recommend this to a friend!
