What's great about it: Easy to use and steer. Has great suction and cat hair pick up.
What's not so great: Haven't found anything yet.
I have shoulder problems and needed a light weight vac with good suction because I have a long hair cat. I purchased a different brand and it was awful. Best Buy took it back and I bought this one. I am in love! It vacuums so easily and steers like a dream and is so light weight. It came with a detailed instruction book and has cleanable filters. Best product I have purchased in a long time. Seems to be made with quality. Instruction book explains how to clean carpet brush, wash filter, etc. So many instruction booklets seem to be designed by people who never used the product or tried out what they are describing. Dyson shows you in pictures and then writes it out. I would buy another Dyson product in a minute. Just wish they were a little less costly.
My arm was very painful after using the other brand. Using the Dyson I had no pain during or after use.
This product is or has... Enough suction that a single-pass does the job, Right length hose, Useful tools, easy to empty, A great pet hair picker upper, Long enough cord, Allergy filtration does the job, Easy to carry, Convenient to store, easy to push and steer.

What's great about it: Good suction
What's not so great: Wouldn't go straight
I bought this vac because I have a bad shoulder and it is light weight and I hoped had good suction. It had great suction but it would not go straight and if I wanted to vacuum straight it just would not go forward and the front came up. Trying to use it was causing a great deal of pain in my shoulder and arm. I called Hoover and they said you (customer) couldn't take off the bottom panel to get at the brush roller in case the belt broke (which they said wouldn't happen in lifetime of vac., I question that) and that if it wouldn't stay down I should take it to a vac repair person. I took it back to Best Buy and got a different vac and not a Hoover.
This product is or has... Useful tools, easy to empty, A great pet hair picker upper, Long enough cord, wouldn't vacuum in a straight line

when will the dyson dc35 digital slim model be available for purchase?

Don't know but I got the DC50 and LOVE it.

What's does the 5year limited warranty mean.

What's does the 5year limited warranty mean.
Limited coverage and said it needed to go back to Hoover. Thank goodness Best Buy took it back so I could get another vac which I LOVE.
