What's great about it: TONS of room. Quiet, Cleans with steam, Third rack, Dries well, easily adjustable racks.
What's not so great: Really bright led lights, just hang a dish towel over
Had it for a month now. No problems. They were very insistant in the install guide about placing anti-siphon positioning of the drain hose.
Every bit a quiet as a $1300 meile.
This product is... Good for delicate dishes, Great for pots & pans, So quiet I can?'t hear, Easy to load adjustable racks, Useful settings or cycles, Able to deliver spotless dishes, Great at drying dishes

Model #LD7561st dishwasher

Does the LD7561st heat the water? Our water heater only heats the water to 130* and takes 2 min to get to the faucet so, the dishwaher needs to heat the water for washing.
It is much more efficient and recommended to run the kitchen faucet until hot before starting the dishwasher. There is a local heating element in the unit, but will wear out faster by having to heat cold water every time. This will also reduce mineral buildup and shorten cycle time.

How well will the dishwasher clean using well water?

We're in the market for a new dishwasher. We are on well water that has a noticable iron and calcium content. Our water pressure is less than public water supply pressure. Our current dishwasher leaves a white film on dishes, glasses, and silverware. We've tried many detergents in liquid and pouch form with Jet Dry without success. How well will this dishwasher clean given these constraints?
You can fix this problem only through filtration of your supply and adding a pressure tank. This will cost about $4K, but will save you in appliances, water heaters, and valves. I find it hard to believe your well system doesn't already have this in place. Maybe it is just in need of maintenance.
