Is this at all compatible with XBOX as well?

Will this work on the XBOX 360 using the bluetooth adapter and/or on the XBOX One using the adapter for it?
it will work since it plugs in through the optical port but since its made for ps4 the chat functions will not work. Their working on an xbox version so I would wait before spending $300 on a system its not currently meant for.

PS4 controller cord?

Does this require the 2.5mm to 3.5mm cord from the PS4 controller to the headset, or is it fully wireless via bluetooth?
Its fully wireless from bluetooth, and theres no 2.5mm cord for the ps4 controller anyways. The controller takes standard 3.5mm headphones. The Elite 800s plug into the audio optical port at the back of your ps4 like any real surround sound headset, just make sure you put your settings to DTS and not Dolby.
