i heard that Samsung hangs terribly after using for 6 months is that true???

I have never heard of that, i have a galaxy note 3 from the first day it came out and its still running fast as the first day.

Can you buy insurance for WI-FI tablets like the insurance that is offered for cell phones at Best Buy $9.99 a month at Best Buy? If not, where?

You can buy 3rd party insurance but its not worth the premium. Its cheaper to get the extended service plan best buy offers.

is new product includes manufaturer warenty and returns accepted

Yes it has a 1 year warranty, normal return policy is 15 days, and 30 or 45 if your an elite plus member, if i remember correctly.

How long does the battery last before it has to be replaced ?

Lets say you use it for around 4 hours everyday watching videos and browsing the net.

Batteries dont have an actual shelf life, but i have heard around 1,000 charging cycles. But of course that depends on charging habits, usage, how you store the device, ie hot or cold situations.

What is the warranty situation on this tablet ?

I heard that this tablet sold by Best Buy, is not covered by the standard samsung warranty. Is that true ? If not, can someone please explain the warranty included with this Samsung galaxy tab pro 8.4. What is the duration ? What is covered ? etc.

When i was at the store buying the tab samsung reps were there, they told me 1 yr of warranty, just call samsung and they would set up a warranty claim if needed.

What Galaxy perks are included with this tablet ?

The one i know for sure is the bonus 50 gb of dropbox cloud storage. You also get a coupon for 50% of accessories in the samsung online store.
