I was just about to get the Yamaha home theater in a box until I stumbled onto the Onkyo home theater in a box. Everything between the two systems seemed to be equal except for the subwoofer on the Yamaha being much bigger than the Onkyo. But the Onkyo sold for $265.00 and the Yamaha for $399.00. The sales accociate at Best Buy was very helpful to me in making my decision. He liked the Onkyo reciever better than the Yamaha reciever. So for the price I would get the Onkyo system with the smaller subwoofer. Best Buy didn't have it in stock so I had to order one and have it shipped to the store. It came in sooner than I expected. When I picked it up and brought it home there was a big suprise in the box. The small subwoofer advertised with the system must have been a misprint. I got a full size subwoofer that was the same size as the Yamaha system. Intallation and setup was very easy. Right out of the box it sounded great. With a little tweaking of the speakers even better. There is more than enough bass for my living room and the rest of the sound is tremendous. I can't turn it up over 50 before it starts to hurt my ears! Needless to say I am very satisfied with my purchase and would recomend it to anyone.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Picture, ease of set up
What's not so great: Only 2 HDMI ports
I was interested in replacing my 27 inch crt tv with a flat screen tv. I did my research for about 6 months. I narrowed it down to 3 brands. LG was one of the brands I decided I was going to buy. When I found this tv it had all the features that I wanted (size, 1080, 120 hz) and it was by far the least expensive. I decided to go to Best Buy because of the availability and the price. When I walked into the store it was displayed right in front of the flat screen tvs. The salesman was very helpful and helped me pick out the right hdmi cables that would support 1080 resolution. When I got it home it was easy to put together. As soon as I turned the tv on the picture was amazing. I ordered hd from my tv provider and the picture was even better. I hooked up my PS3 and the graphics were out of this world. I had heard that the sound on flat screen tvs were not that good, however I was suprised that the sound on this tv wasn't that bad. But in the future I do plan on going back to Best Buy to buy a Home Theater system for it.

Wireless Speakers

Does this unit include wireless speakers -specifically, wireless rear speakers?

Also, does it include any speaker stands?
It does not include wireless speakers. Everything is wired. No, it doesn't include any speaker stands.
