What's great about it: loud, easy set up
What's not so great: wires are a tad long, no remote
I bought these speakers to connect to my laptop (via external USB soundcard) and my digital cable. I am very impressed with these speakers, especially when watching movies on my laptop and sports. The only problem I have is that it does not come with a remote.
I would recommend this to a friend!

COMPATIBILITY

I have a Panasonic Viera 32" Model TC-L32C3. Can this speaker system be hooked up directly
to the TV or does it need to be routed through a receiver or a laptop? Thanks.
I don't think they can be directly hooked up to TVunless you have an adapter. I switch the sound settings when I hook up my PC via HDMI.

Are the satellite speakers wireless? If not how long are the wires?

Unfortunately they are not wireless. The wires in my basement extend out probably more than 10ft. I put them under a rug to make the cords look less noticeable.

av hdmi cable for ps3???

Is there an available hdmi a/v cable for this surround sound system that is available for the ps3 as one doesnt come in the box?
I don't think so. I just switch the sound settings to the speakers when I hook up my laptop to TV via HDMI.
