What's great about it: easy setup, good range
What's not so great: Haven't found anything
Purchased item to increase range and add another Wifi port for TV. Installation was straightforward, find location halfway between router and device, plug in, turn on and you are pretty much done. Signal went from good to excellent immediately. It also increased range to the outside of my house, can now get Wifi on the deck, a little added bonus! During the first week I lose the connection a couple of times, but this hasn't happened since then, must of been something with my router. I could no be more pleased with this product so far!

This is my second Apple TV unit. Works great for streaming music, photos or movies. Never loses it's connection, can't think of anything I do not like about this product. Hook up could not be simpler.

How can I tell its compatible

How can I tell if it is compatible with my router, says it works with most 802.11b/g/n routers but I don't see any numbers like that on mine.
Most routers produced in the last couple years are compatible with 802.11b/g/n. Unless your router is more than a couple years old it probably should work. You could check your routers web site for more information, they would be able to tell you if it would work, just need model number, to look up.
