What's great about it: Comfort. These are easily the most comfortable inner ear heaphones I have ever used.
What's not so great: They do slip out of inner ear a bit, short cord, good sound, but not excellent. Price
BOTTOM LINE: EXCELLENT and best comfort in the market if that's what you're going for. If you instead want better sound, look elsewhere. The price is worth it for the comfort, but certainly not for the sound.
These Inner Ear headphones are all about the comfort, and possibly the fab of wearing "BOSE". Easily the most comfortable I.E. headphones I have owned. For the price however, the sound lacks terribly, compared to for example Sony I.E. MDR-XB60EX headphones which are at least 30% less in price. Still great and better than average sound, just not excellent and not worth the price in that respect. They do slip a bit out of the ear after a long while, but not as much as other brands and that happens with ALL I.E. headphones anyway. They also have a shorter cord than most which still does the job, but explains why BOSE sells a 20" cord extension for an extra $13. I am questioning their durability, specifically the cord, which I never did with my last headphones (my daughter lost them), so I bought the protection plan available for them. On the plus side, they come with a rudimentary case that will fit most electronics plus the headphones. I am keeping them for the comfort, but I wish they had better sound quality that goes on par with their price.
This product has... Perfect fit, Too much ambient noise, short cord, not enough bass for the price
About me... Frequent traveler, outdoor enthusiast
I would recommend this to a friend!

Can I buy replacement parts for the Bose earphones

I lost the silicone covers for each ear piece for my Bose earphones. How can I get replacement parts?
Bose sells them at their website, along with a 20" extension cord for these short cord headphones.
I suspect you can find them online in other places.

Can anyone recommend comparable earbuds with similar bass?

I currently own these and like the bass in them. I feel like they're a little too flat and the crash in the drums is too diluted or drawn out. Can anyone recommend any earbuds than can do this better?
Talking strictly inner ear headphones, I can say Sony's MDR-XB60EX have superior bass than these, and you can do even better because these are not Sony's top of the line. They are also cheaper.
These BOSE are about the comfort, certainly not the sound, although is still better than average.
