sound bar for inside and wireless outdoor speakers. what all do i need?

I like the look and ease of the sound bar for a home theater, but i also want to play digital music from the tv on the patio via wireless speakers. what would the easiest way to complete this? would a whole system be in order, or can i just pick and choose a bar system and an outdoor system? expense vs ease of installations, etc. We have a 42" Insignia HDMI LCD to begin our setup.... but that's it.
Complex solution here. To get sound outdoors wirelessly you would need a sonos connect, and run the tv sound out via optical cable to the connect. Then the sound would be in the sonos network and could be streamed to play 1's or play 3's outside. However, to get the sound to a soundbar by the tv, you would have to switch the optical cable over to the playbar. So either an optical switcher or simply do it the correct way and get a receiver that can do multiple zones.

No, Bose does not make anything that is dual zone, like a multi zone receiver.

Need advice. Looking for wireless system to play music from WI FI, TV, CDs, iPod, iPad, with speakers throughout upstairs and downstairs common areas

Only way to do that is through a SONOS system. You would be much better off coming into a store and talking to a home theater associate as trying to describe the whole workings of sonos over the internet is a little rough. It will work fantastically and sound amazing, but it won't be cheap.

Can a 7.1 audio receiver (samsung) support a set of 5.1 speakers (Bose)?

If the receiver has standard speaker wire inputs, (either spring clips or binding posts) and the Bose speakers have standard speaker wires coming out of them, then yes they absolutely will work just fine. The only potential issues would be if the receiver is part of an all-samsung system and has some form of proprietary speaker inputs, and not standard wire inputs. Same thing for the Bose speakers, as long as there are no funky proprietary clips/plugs, than you are good to go.

If you are asking if you can play regular (non-3D) blu rays on a 3D-blu ray home theater system(or 3D-blu ray player) then the answer is yes. You can always downgrade what you play on these kinds of systems. 3D-blu ray players will play 3D-blu ray, blu ray, DVD, CD.
