What's great about it: Theatre like sound, easy set-up
What's not so great: Separate remote
I had a Bose 321 system for surround like TV sound with my 55" LG TV; it was okay sound wise but I always had trouble syncing the voice with the picture. Very irritating. I purchased this LG System based on a very positive independent review that's on the internet. I set it up in about 5 minutes, and was blown away by the sound. The theatre like surround sound is awesome and the sub woofer is incredible. It sounds like the sound is coming from all angles. The different programmable sound effects are cool to play with. The only minus is that it has a separate remote that I can't seem to be able to synch with my universal remote; it's probably me. Small inconvenience to pay for incredible sound at a great price.
I would recommend this to a friend!

nb 3530a, what is the best sound mode to use?

For nb 3530a, what is the best sound mode to use? Switching between soundmodes cuts off the sound momentarily; is there a way to avoid that?
It depends. The beauty of this system is that you can change the sound effect based on what you're watching. The short delay is unavoidable but ideally you're not switching constantly during a show or movie. Set it once at the beginning and enjoy. For mostly voice TV I use the "clrvoice" effect; the bass is reduced so the voices come across clearer. For any movies I use either "natural" or "bass". The "bass" is awesome for action packed movies and gives more of a surround sound experience. Hope this helps.
